Any less than 6 points I think the dream may be derailed I think the scottish press are trying to a job of that as they all seem to just assume Jens will go to Sellik. Usual plan just to unsettle team. Hopefully all ignored by Jens and players and we focus on remaining 11 games. We cant afford any slip ups so here's hoping for another huge crowd to roar on the lads. COYW

We have missed two big opportunities for sucess so far this season, so lets hope we can be the best we can be in the run in and maybe it will be 3rd time lucky for the biggest prize of all, coyw.

Any less than 6 points I think the dream may be derailed As the team playing catchup, we definitely cant afford to be dropping points against teams in the bottom 6 if we have any real aspirations of winning the league. Winning all our games will be a big ask, but if we did, Id be pretty confident 83 points wins the title.....
Big Stall Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM Its a big If, because we are Motherwell & have no right to assume we will beat SPL teams, but IF...... we win these 2 games in hand thats 6 points bagged at a time only 1 of the old firm could collect 3 points. Ideally they draw & we make it 5 points on them both. IF that happens, the narrative changes because the table will show it loud and clear! IF......🤣
texanwellfan Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Definitely, if We win both games it piles the pressure on rangers and Celtic. They have a cup game as well as a league game to kick lumps out of each other. its hard to see us winning all of our remaining games but likewise it’s also hard to see any of the top 6 teams winning all their games. This is why it is important to focus on one game at a time. You can only win one game at a time. I didn’t mention Hearts but we need them to be dropping points. With respect to finishing above the arse cheeks we already have that within our own control.

grizzlyg
Saw bit of open goal and talking about well, I must have missed a trick. If Ferry and Slane can make a career then anyone can, almost needed subtitles listening to them, usual sellik bias of ohhhh Jens must be certainty for well. Media doing everything to unsettle us and derail our campaign

Ya Bezzer!
This is a game we should be winning but I noticed a couple of things. Our pattern of results is 2 wins, a draw, 2 wins, a draw, 2 wins..... So I decided to look and see when we last won 3 matches in a row and was surprised that it was way back in September 2023. Hopefully that stat gets updated at the weekend!

Media doing everything to unsettle us and derail our campaign I think it was pretty clear to most of us even by September that we had a diamond in our hands & he would be leaving sooner rather than later & wouldnt be due to us sacking him. Just got to enjoy it and hope we have a background team capable of sooking up his knowledge. The positive thing to note from that Slane/Ferry session is that even they see that the time will be coming where much bigger fish than celtic fancy Jens
weeyin
The media doesn't care about our campaign or trying to unsettle us. They just know the best way to get clicks/listeners/viewers is to mention the OF in every sentence. And sadly, it works.

joewarkfanclub
1 defeat in 19 league games. And even that was the game at Ibrox where we should have had at least a point. We have only conceded 5 goals in the league since the League Cup semi final. Thats 17 league games. Given we have only lost 18 league goals in 27 games so far that means we lost 13 of those in the first 10 games before the semi final. The semi final was a sore one, but Jens has clearly learned from that defeat and tweaked the system. United have some dangerous players up top, but they will have to commit bodies in the press to get the better of us which should leave them more open at the back. Could be a very good game! texanwellfan
JT been a bit on the quiet side of late so tomorrow would be a good time For him to burst back into life. I’d Like to see us try a different kick off tactic. Just give the ball to Said and let him have a go at dribbling thru the opposition to score 😃

After that, we need to go to Glasgow and win. You cant win the title unless you can win in Glasgow (apparently)......
weeyin
I'm fully expecting JBA to replace Slattery wtih Fadinger tomorrow, so he can imply dropping him was part the "dealt with internally" process even if it is in reality load balancing.

I wouldnt. Much as I though his reaction to the incident was embarassing, did him and us no favours, I wouldnt give the St Mirren fans still greetin about it any encouragement! He has had the waggy finger. Time for the arm round the shoulder. (And shove that new contract in front of him 😉)
