Even just accepting a reduced capacity stadium (by what... 2k?) for all euro ties this season, take a year to map out options and engage with fans to implement a fit for purpose solution. We wouldnt be losing out on that much gate receipts surely? Very much has the feel of a panic/ rushed job which tbf is uncharacteristic of the board recently. grizzlyg
Were the POD season ticket prices not cheaper this season and in line with the Hunter stand? Jeez folk are never happy!! 🤣🤣 Yes I am joking. Club need to get the seats sorted, sounds absolutely ridiculous for the folk sitting there

stv
Knees killing me after jumping up twice for two outstanding goals. Banging them on seat back in front , take that every game if we play like that. Should be a rule you don't leave til the passage way is clear. 🤣 Ok when every one has a t shirt on the now , but Jan and Feb when its two jackets and layers time will be a right laugh, passing each other. 😃

Guy in front of me on stairs was carrying his seat and handed it into the Director's box on way out. From what I saw it was held in place by one giant screw which had come loose. Maybe we should all try that. Never got a chance to ask him what the reaction was.
grizzlyg
Sounds a nightmare for folk in the POD just now. I can imagine when we start "STAND UP AND SING FOR MOTHERWELLLLLLLL", the response is........."We can't.......we're stuck!!"
1991Motherwell
I think it could be a big problem for the club. 1st game of the season in the new seat and I was on Amazon looking for a cushion. It made the 1st European tie much more comfortable as others were complaining about space and being scratched by the plastic. In my mind thats why the club reduced ticket prices in the POD to match elsewhere. The POD stand was always considered to be a premium product but clearly not anymore. One slight change to this policy appears to be when we play the old firm tickets are £5 dearer than the other home stands. Probably to justify charging the away support more. Have we heard if the high heid yins are taking up the offer to try them out

robsterwood
Tried seats for first time last night. Very difficult to move between rows without seats going back. A few older people and larger people struggled to get past the rows. Not the best. Wonder if it's even possible to alter or adjust them to be more flexible. Brazilian
Witnessed two separate and quite nasty falls due to the seat situation. one fall put a person landing on top of people seated in the row in front, only a matter of time before there will be a reportable incident. The sad thing is that the Board are now well aware of the issues but have remained silent. Looks like they are adopting the old ostrich trick of burying their heads in the sand hoping the problem will disappear. That applies to both Boards. So much for being fan orientated. When someone eventually gets injured they might show an interest. Or maybe not.

For me the only viable solution to the problem is for the club to acknowledge a mistake has been made in fitting these seats and then start the process to get them replaced with something fit for purpose. firparkfred
I saw 2 incidents on Thursday night of seats breaking off the floor of the stand, purely by someone leaning on the back of the seat while letting another person past in their row. These seats are not fit for purpose.
Kmcalpin
I've just emailed both the club and Society about this problem. Something does need to be done, but as Denny says, the first step would be an acknowledgement that this has gone badly wrong.
