In years past this would be a write-off and one of the most meek, cringeworthy games I have been at was Ibrox the LC in 2012.

More recently though we have seen a mindset change where we no longer seem overawed and have had  statement victories at Ibrox in the past 3 seasons.

No reason why we can't make it 4 in a row.

Will be tough going there as ever, £10s of millions ploughed into the squad, the crowd and the inevitable weak refereeing, however we should absolute take it to them.

We are capable of dismantling any team in the league.

I'm relatively confident of coming back with at least a point.

Rangers will be dangerous in attack, but they have had gaping holes in midfield, lack a proper 6 and have a defence which can be suspect.

We go there, play our game, be brave and minimise unforced errors and see how we get on.

Rangers, like Hearts and Celtic to a lesser extent, are all teams that now I feel we have a good chance of taking points off over the season, whether it’s today or the next meeting I’m not sure but I do expect us to give them a game and I know their fans will be worried about losing as much or more than us.

Our record and mindset against them has improved tenfold since Alan Burrows left the club imo. He was one of the biggest champions of “punching way above our weight” and it’s no coincidence that several managers, notably McCall and McGhee whom he had close working relationships with, firmly bought into that.

I don’t think we will get anything today but I also am 100% confident that whatever happens we won’t go into this game beat before a ball is even kicked like we did for far too many years.

On paper or on bank balances we are on a hiding to nothing. Most seasons (until recently) we would head there hoping not to take a skelping. What a turnaround it is knowing we have a team who can take the game to Rangers. Will we? Maybe, maybe not but i fully expect us to give it a go. From what iv seen of both teams this season, theres no reason to be afraid

Mon the well

If we keep the ball and control the game (and the referre/VAR dont do our legs) we win.

If we go to gung ho and leave ourselves open on the transition, we will undoubtedly conceed and that will make things significantly harder.

Controlled aggression is the key.

Not sure starting Mas is a good idea . Not done much at all this season and showed nothing on Wednesday night to keep him in the starting line up . Lot more effort needed from him. Wee Kanga on the other hand looked like he. could have run all night

Maswanhise ran his arse off on Wednesday night. You might not like what he did on the ball (he did get 2 assists) but lets not criticise his work rate.
