Well worth a draw,  some good performances. Well done lads..tick tock

Is the tick tock patter aimed at the time for change posters 😂

if so you must be 12 year old 😂

if I’ve got the meaning of it wrong then I’ll my hold my hands up on the tick tock

managed to catch the last 30 as just back, big priestman chance but they had a big chance that defensively we were miles out ( no idea how the boys missed that ) & we still look suspect from corners

good point, said subbed again at the same sort of time as the st Johnstone game ( Im assuming we can bin that myth he was subbed coz of a yellow )

decent point that keeps the run going

Decent away performance and a good point.

Thought the first half was end to end and very even. Both teams had lots if chances so 1-1 at half time just about right.

Thought United edged the second half. They showed a bit more quality on the ball and created the better chances.

Agree, the subs were weird. Said was doing fine and Fadinger was playing well. Can only assume Fadinger did pick up a knock as it makes no sense otherwise.

Early days for Hendry on his return from injury, but he has already reminded me why I hadnt missed him. I really wouldnt have him on the field at the same time as SPH or Eythor. One of any of them is plenty.

Overall, pretty pleased with the point, but moreso the performance. The passivity is gone and we look far more comfortable with what we are trying to do.

It appears talk of Alfreds demise may have been premature.

A decent point today and with my claret and amber goggles on would say we should have won, but at least we stopped that Fanny Goodwin getting 3 points.

I thought we were lucky with the penalty and perhaps that’s our season’s gift from VAR, but all gifts greatly received and it’ll give the wee Fanny something to moan about.

The last 4 games have seen much better performances, more desire, more supporting each other with options and 2nd ball success, and I feel that if Lady Luck shone on us a bit more we could have easily had 9 or 10 points out the 12.

So on to another pain in the arse cheek international break but perhaps we will see the return of Lowry, Johnny K and a fitter Oscar and McGinn on the return.

Much better Alfred but we can be better still!

There’s still time yet. We’re still generally pish. Four points from the last two games is fair enough, but both goals came from penalties and we struggle to score from open play. We’re still defensively weak, powderpuff up front and all too often resort to this passive, ceding-possession crap. The in-game management is questionable too, with some continually bonkers subs. And Vogt starting the Celtic game will forever remain one of Alfred’s most ridiculous decisions. Thirteen league games, three wins, four draws and six defeats. Pumped out of the League Cup at the first hurdle too. The European football was the one positive, but that was before Alfred got his way with the squad on the training pitch.

For comparison, at the same stage of JBA’s tenure, we had four wins, seven draws and just two defeats from 13 league games. He didn’t have European football, but he did take us on a six-game League Cup run before St Mirren eventually pumped us out in the semi-final.

I know comparisons with JBA will inevitably be dismissed as unfair, but that’s precisely why I’ve chosen their respective starts. This was before JBA had really got us up and running, so I’m not comparing Alfred’s current form with JBA once he’d established himself and got the team playing. I’m looking at how the two managers started.

Objectively, it’s been a poor start domestically, and I remain unconvinced he’s the right man for the job. Some see progress, but looking at the bigger picture I don’t.

With that strip we were due a break with a penalty

A lot of good points there, as per my opinion on the AJ thread - gone to a jury's out status.
He's stopped tinkering but there is some questionable subs at points - the more settled team has reaped benefits.

Yes, no and take your hands down now .

A good point and played some nice stuff at times.

There has certainly been an improvement recently, however its so frustrating that so many mazy runs with great ball control and good passages of passing play fall flat through carelessness. And I dont like being negative, but its clear that neither SPH or Thor are football players.

Another papering over the crack result today because we were never scoring today unless we got a penalty, same as last week. The penalty was very fortune as well but obviously that’s not in our control. In the end we were hanging on for dear life and had we lost we could have had no complaints.

Tick tock is in reference to Wellfan's poor taste post of a few weeks ago when he/she was gleefully suggesting that the manager was on borrowed time.

Thankfully so far Wellfan has been proved wrong.

Gleeful is your interpretation of my post. I simply wrote “Tick tock”. But by all means, carry on twisting things to suit your own narrative.
