I think we need to scrap this topic. Thoroughly bored of the whole subject. Nothing will ever get done, it’s as simple as that. Tin pot, spineless administrators. They are worse than the Celtic and Rangers fans. We now have referees discussing strike action….. good…. They are totally incompetent. Bring in some refs from the semi pro league in England, they can’t be any worse and they won’t have an agenda.
-
Of course we will - can't go about blaming the Celtic fans, might upset Martin.
-
Will we be held responsible for Celtic fans invading the pitch? No doubt the media headline will all be about us being fined for Block E's pyros.
-
Quite. With the majority of last season's team still available, they should almost be able to go out on the park and give us a half-decent performance without any managerial input at all.
-
Ange Postecoglu recommended that Stevie Hammell should sign Riku Danzaki for example.
-
We didn't appoint Jens until June 12th and we had a fair few bodies to try and get in last season in order to get a workable eleven. Seven weeks later we outplayed Rangers. The framework is in place this season...
-
There will also be those not good enough for ligue 1 that might do a job in the SPL...
-
This is the least surprising thing I've ever read on here 😄
- Today

It’s still two months away, and with the continuity of Max seemingly staying on as assistant manager, I expect we’ll be fine, even with a few ins and outs expected.
-
It is about time something was done about the behaviour of this bunch of Celtic fans (Green Brigade) or anyone else involved. The club need to be taking more responsibility but instead of that you hear pathetic comments from the likes of Martin O'Neill more or less making out that what happens is completly acceptable. Cut their allocation next season I say I seen yesterday John Swinney was telling them to behave themselves tomorrow, again that is not going to happen

The wordings of those two rules are vague enough to let Celtic off the hook. In fact, per Rule H36, we could even take the blame as the home team: "H36 The home club in any official batch must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, H36.1 good order and security; H36.2 that policies and procedures have been adopted and are implemented to prevent incidents of unacceptable conduct; and H36.3 that any incidents of unacceptable conduct are effectively dealt with, all at its stadium on the occasion of an official match. "H37 Each Club must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that: H37.1 its Players, officials, supporters and any person exercising a function for or connected with the club do not engage in unacceptable conduct at a stadium on the occasion of an official match; H37.2 it identifies any of its supporters who engage in unacceptable conduct at an official match; and H37.3 it takes proportionate disciplinary measures in respect of supporters so identified in terms of Rule H37.2."

He can't sign them all, and managers and coaches often recommend players to each other.
-
A rapid 5 minute "investigation" a shift of any responsibillity onto Motherwell and Hearts, followed by a swift sweep, sweep nothing to see here statement is my guess.
-
The fact that they’re even dragging incidents from lower league games into this speaks volumes. They just cannot be seen to be singling out Celtic, even though this is all down to them and their entitled supporters and that all goes back to the absolute chokehold that that club have on the authorities and the media in this country.
-
Eh, if he knows any good young overseas talent he will be signing them for his new team or any team he's working for at the time.
-
French was easier to learn than Aberdonian...
-
I’m hoping that JBA might be a helpful resource in the future perhaps pointing us on the direction of some young overseas talent. a very good contact to have and I’m sure he’ll carry some affection for the club throughout his career.
-
It’s a tough job to get manager and team ready for July 23
-
The SPFL growing a pair of balls and taking action re pitch invasions and assaults on players? Probably not. Lumping all four together will minimise the more serious incidents and enable the Authorities to class them all as celebratory rather than violent and intimidatory. "We had a look but nothing to see here." I expect Hamilton and Stenny to be fined and Celtic to be commended for the enthusiasm and good nature of their fans. I suspect the incidents attracting the interest of our politicians has spurred our masters to 'appear' to be taking matters seriously.
-
Whatever happens there will be minimal if any serious repercussions for Celtic even though their supporters were 100% responsible for both incidents. You can guarantee that had any of our fans retaliated by also invading the park at the Celtic game then we would be being painted as the aggressors while Celtic’s fans were simply jubilant in celebration, the same as what happened with the Cup tie at Ibrox where Celtic fans invaded the park. Celtic have too many people in high places for anything major to befall their way in terms of suitable punishment.

Delayed traumatic reaction to the Pyros. A deserved fine for Motherwell.
-
I had to go back and look at it after seeing your post. It had Went right over my head, although that’s not hard, I’m only 5’4”
-
Fine for Motherwell.

A stern talking to, 20 quid fine suspended for 2 minutes, some hand waving to distract from that VAR decision.
