But but but I thought TJ was at Ibrox? Thats what the bad rangers supporters said
-
I had a feeling he’d do this. Loads of changes. It’ll be interesting
-
Interesting line-up

Bore off

How often should a Motherwell striker be scoring? 1 in 3 is a perfectly reasonable expectation. Any more than that and you're looking at someone putting themselves in amongst the all time greats.
-
Six changes! We better win.
- Today

Correct, we should never use the Scottish Cup for anything but our strongest 11. Mind you will be difficult without Manwanhise because according to Rangers fans he and his agent were at Ibrox yesterday to complete a move there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Well done pal 👍

To all interested parties in the Lord Hamilton of Dalzell racing colours discussion: I used the Jockey Club database to find his racing colours and they reflect the heraldic colours posted above by dennyc, i.e. red and white. Perhaps it's no surprise that Hamilton Accies play in hoops in these colours but there is clearly no link with our claret and amber. This makes it more likely that our colours were "inspired" by/copied from Bradford City's, particulary since we followed their C&A yoke design with stripes in those colours. It was only from 1928 that the two clubs' strips diverged and we chose our iconic hoop. Hope this helps.....

Same thing will happen. No action. But at least we would be doing without the unecessary delays and spoiling of goal celebrations!

Given all his talk about developing a winning mentality in the squad, I dont see any way Jens doesnt go with the strongest team available. If he does he sends out totally the wrong signals and lets the players know he isnt actually serious. Not gonna happen.
-
JBA should be picking his strongest eleven today. It's the Scottish Cup.
-
Most of us can probably agree on this. Scrap VAR and have referee observers review games afterwards, call out mistakes and inconsistencies, and actually hold officials accountable. Let the game flow and deal with the bad officiating afterwards.
-
Fans are fans. We had posters on here who claimed Slattery wasn't good enough for us during his first couple of seasons.
-
I'd say the opposite. Too many poor decisions due to "letter of the law" rather than "spirit of the game". The handball rules are a great example of this where attempting to remove subjectivity has made them a complete joke. I agree we need more consistency and better referees. I'd prefer it, however, if we just let them do their job and ditch VAR.
-
I sincerely hope not, we have been stung in the past by not playing our strongest starting 11 in Cup ties, the man in the other dugout today was guilty of it amongst others but hopefully Jens doesn’t do the same. We have injuries but other than them our best available players need to start this game because if they don’t and we don’t win this tie then it’s a black mark against the manager.
-
Will Jens play some fringe players/youngsters today?
-
Only so long we can be sitting waiting about on Welsh before we need to move on and I don't think for one minute JBA is a man that likes to be dicked about. We need to get players in we have a top six and Europe to be playing for.
-
Loads of legit people talking about Barry Bannan? I do know a few mates who support teams in the championship and they have said he’s still one of the best players in that league but it’d surprise me with his age etc that we’d spunk a lot if wages on him unless it’s just short term.
-
I had hoped this would be the situation also. Then I found out he was contracted until 2027. Dont imagine he will be keen to throw away £10k a week, no matter how much he is enjoying himself. Unless Celtic are happy to get him off the wage bill and we can give him the nominal transfer fee? I suppose there are always ways to get deals done if both parties want it.
-
Just read a post from Al B on P & B. He rightly points out that the VAR team was examining arm contact. The issue wasn't that at all it was a trip.
-
Once subjectivity is allowed to creep into a supposedly objective process, the game’s a bogey.
-
I was chatting to some of the Celtic lads, their vieq is he's been at Park Head long enough, played more than 40 games and didn't cement himself as a starter. They want to look forward and don't feel he's the solution given he's been tried and tested. Perfect - bring him back to FP , sign him perm in summer. Captain Welsh for MFC please.
-
I see Celtic are in the process of signing a CB from Frankfurt which HOPEFULLY means we can get Welsh back.................... I find it wild that their fanbase think Welsh isnt good enough for them, utterly wild stance!!!! Id honestly be over the moon if he can come back
