How many chances does Paulsen get without being benched...I reckon MC should get a chance, if only to make a statement. You all reckon we are getting gubbed anyway so no issues.

U r right 👍 or if you prefer you are right 👍
-
Quick question - why abbreviate you to u, and not are to r, or know to no? My ageing brain tells me we should abbreviate all, or none
-
Oops. My apologies. I did wonder about the quotation marks. 😊

You’re taking the piss!

None of us know for sure...I would say next 3 games are crucial for him. At the minute I dont see it but he seems an intelligent bloke so he can see whats needed...give him a chance...if things not improving after st mirren game, conversations may be required. I wouldn't distance sod completely, you need a voice in dressing room but cant have him in central defence ever again. Goalie needs a rest, lets see if MC can step up. -
I refuse to watch any re run of that garbage. "a punch in the face" ?? try a little lower.

Connelly isn't the answer either unfortunately, was a total bomb scare at Aberdeen last season in the Scottish and was hopeless (among others) against Stenny this year. For as bad as Paulsen's mistakes have been he's saved us from a few scuddings already and the defence in front of him are all over the place which is why he's being called upon so frequently. Alfred needs to rectify the defence and rectify fast

If he hadn’t fucked up that LCSF against St.Mirren and got to have a crack at a Wilfried Nancy led Celtic in the final chances are he would be a legend and forever written into Motherwell FC folklore.
-
Still hopeful he can turn things round but always a hard act to follow...I mean......Jens was a legend! 🤪🤪

Curtis Main levels of accuracy.

Yes JBA made mistakes, all managers do and at a club of our stature we are never going to have the perfect manager. Overall Jens Berthel Askou was really good for us. He brought about a different brand of playing and management which we saw in the performances of several players. We were slick, well drilled and disciplined. When we were at our peak we were great, but at the same time you could look back and say things could/should have been better especially with the two dismal cup exits. He more than earned his big move in the summer and he and we move on. I don’t see Alfred Johansson getting anywhere near those levels for us and getting anything like a move like JBA got when he leaves us. Can you?

That's something I watch every week and seriously the numbers are fucking shocking. He never hits a 50% success rate in the warm up shooting practice.

Hearts actually played quite well in spells during the first half yesterday according to the radio commentary but were undone by comically bad defending and Celtic being utterly ruthless in punishing them. We’re not Celtic and we have nothing up front to punish them with and if we defend as we have been in our last three or four games then Hearts really couldn’t have asked for a better opponent to bounce back against on Sunday.
-
In the great scheme of things, not a huge issue, but that was a stick on red card. Foul was committed well after ball was played.

Don’t go to Falkirk 🧐

I was referring to the league - it was after 9 league games we went on the extraordinary defensive record . Think we’d all be delighted to keep keep things tight for the next phase of games

Team! Connolly Koutroumbis Knight Lebel Moorman Longelo McGhee Hodge Fadinger Lowry Said Palmer Houlden A little bit more dig in that team, with further defensive midfield cover, a little bit more height as well. I've put Connolly in goals to present the team with a bit more of a Ward like figure, to replicate what we were doing last year.
