Have the club confirmed that the seats in the PoD won't be replaced in time? I thought the European games were the whole point of replacing them? I am not an ST holder but attend regularly and sit in the PoD so was hoping to sit there as usual. Just went on to buy two tickets and seems like that isn't possible as only a few sporadic seats are available in the Cooper. Tried to call the club five or six times over last few days with no answer. I presume we are going to have to open part of the South Stand?
-
Went into this season thinking only need a few players now I can confirm i have been lying to myself! This is probably near enough the starting line up vs HB won't be too far off the mark.
-
Opppsite of a tuchel side...nae defenders! 🤣🤣, 20 mins to get served at Mrs baillies. Mrs grizzly even doon for pre match pint...then going home 🤣🤣
-
I think we already knew that. McGinn, JK and SOD injured means we either need to make do, or bring in a couple of additonal defenders we hadn't originally planned for.
-
Great to see EJ starting. Hard to tell how this will go but hopefully a good workout for the players selected.
-
Fucking hell, he'd be better off staying here!
-
That starting XI and bench suggests we’re massively short of first team players.
-
There’s no reason why the HB game shouldn’t be a sellout.

Just went into the ground map for tickets and there are only 33 available in the Cooper Stand to buy, none in the Phil O'Donnell or the Hunter Stand. I realise the club have blocked the sale of season ticket seats until the deadline day. However if all Season Ticket holders were to buy a ticket the ground would be all but sold out. If that were to happen thats quite remarkable considering its not that much of a glamour tie.

They've already sown the seeds to have B teams in the league. So even if we punted their parent clubs the SFA and SPFL are going to make sure they are still represented.
-
Aye, Scottish football would be in a far better place if those two fecked off to England, we live in hope.
-
Will there be hydration breaks tonight and about a dozen clips of David Beckham sitting in the stand! 🤣 Looking forward to it tonight

A great wee film: thanks! Fifteen league titles for us (half of City Clubs Hearts' and Aberdeen's totals) sounds about right and much better than our real solitary one. I wish the OF would bugger off to England but the English would never want the toxicity they bring. In any case, I feel The Uglies' crowds would dwindle ablaw the dyke once they find their level, probably a yo-yo Championship one with no help from duff refereeing. Conversely, the remaining Scottish SPL clubs might well increase their attendances because there would be real competition for the title and the overall fan experience would be better without the intimidatory sectarianism the two Glasgow clubs bring.

True, but they are another club recently acquired by American owners with shares in multiple clubs and a penchant for data driven management. So they have a few more quid to spend than in previous years. Having said that, I agree a fee of sub 100k is quite likely. Freeing up Ox's wages without having to buy out his contract is a good situation for both parties, and receiving a fee makes it a good deal.
-
Dunfermline cant afford that kind of money, they lost just under £2 million in their last accounts to May 2025 and are borderline broke. I reckon it will be sub £100,000
-
Parts of the O'Donnell won't be available apparently, while the new seats are still being installed. So I think they've maybe blocked out some areas to relocate people.
-
Said must be raging they were all eating his meal 🤪🤪
-
West Ham would be a great move for him. Fans would love him
-
Good big keeper, we’ve had so many worse than him who were our No1s. Good luck to him. Just hope Paulsen is the business. Looking forward to see a few newbies tonight.
-
Best thing for all parties that ox moved on and we will have got a decent wage off the books, good luck too him.
-
For the sake of argument lets say the Ox was on £2K per week. If the Pars bought out his contract you'd be looking at £400K. I'm not saying we got anywhere near that sum but its likely we cut our losses to reduce our wage bill, and showed Dunfermline some generosity by giving them a bargain.
-
They would no doubt have received a decent wedge of cash for getting to the Scottish cup final, in gate receipts, prize money etc
-
Fee would certainly help cover a couple of signing on fees for new guys, I'd imagine, which will help balance books a bit...

The Record today sill reporting "Samsunspor are confident of sealing a £1.7 million move for Elliot Watt over the coming days." - so nothing official to report at this point. It's a sad day when you can't believe 12 year olds on Twitter. (Of course he will likely be leaving us, but like most of our deals the details will not be posted on Facebook).
