  3. I have no idea what state they are in now, but weren't they docked points and put into administration recently? Of course there is a chance to be picked up by EPL clubs - just surprised a struggling Championship team was his best option.
  4. And that's what it's all about...if we can turn the Miller money into more money through trading, then it's all good
  5. My feelings too. I bear (?) the lad no ill will. He left us for a substanital hike in wages to join his and his father's favourite team. I totally get that. Actions have consequences however, and his football development has suffered. You're paid your money and you takes your choice. Good luck to him.
  6. Two surprises in one day. I suspect a 3-0 lead at Tynecastle was the first surprise...
  7. Do well and the PL beckons pretty soon. And still so young. Might turn out to be a clever move as he should be a starter at Derby which may well not have been the case if he had opted for the likes of Italy. Champions League wise I guess he will not miss being humped every game. Whatever happens he should be sorted financially for life. Good luck to him. The other thing is we don't really know who wanted him enough to meet SG price. So maybe not the options we all think.
  8. Didn't take him long to get bored with league titles and Champions League football.
  9. Max Johnson is on his way to Derby according to Sky sports for £3.5 million allegedly. https://www.skysports.com/football/live-blog/11095/13163353/efl-transfer-news-rumours-and-gossip-for-championship-league-one-and-league-two?postid=10074891#liveblog-body
  10. My view is that he could have stayed at Motherwell and didn't. I do get that he was likely offered more wages to go but I can't see this happening
  11. Yep. The club appear to have invested wisely. The unfortunate side is that these players probably won't hang around for long but at least we should see some decent money coming in.
  12. Bailey Rice transfer wont benefit us one bit if he and his agent had any sense go Ayr or Partick type team to a get game time week in week out if he is good enough. We need some defence signings now or its really going to be Kevin Keegan football for the rest of the season which wouldnt be a bad thing least we shall be entertained. Not going to lie but this is turning into the one of the best transfer windows for a good number of years.Longelo keeps this up and we are already looking at a seven figure digit value love watching him play .Longelo and Just ooze class.
  13. At the moment he’s definitely not the type of player to benefit us. From what I’ve seen and speaking to normal rangers fans I know they feel Rangers have destroyed him and his confidence. He’s also cursed with the Lennon miller comparison constantly which is a weight to carry for a young player. (Not that i feel sorry for him as that’s on him and his father) unless he’s coming to us permanently …. Even then I’m not sure…I see zero point in a loan deal where this will only really benefit rangers and potentially Rice.
  14. I know. We can never just sit back relax and enjoy us playing well. We just keep on waiting to collapse and be disappointed. I mean we have gone 9 games unbeaten and deservedly so. We know we will loose at some point and that will definitely be disappointing but please don’t let it be against SK’s team!! I really, really hope we give them a thumping and strike a victory for playing good football over dull negative kick and hope stuff that has been the bane of Scottish football for so many years now.
  15. Haven’t seen him at all and so have no idea if he’s the type of player that would benefit us or not. Like most people are saying, regardless of how good Rice is, I’d much rather use our resources to get a starting centre back.
  16. I'm hearing Thier fans not to bothered if he does or not. Don't think they overly impressed.
  17. Thank God, I thought you were going to say grease , if your singing is as bad as your jokes Travolta has nothing to worry about.
  18. According to today's BBC gossip Rangers want Rice to sign a new contract before they allow him to go out on Loan Rangers want midfielder Bailey Rice, 18, to sign a new deal before sending him out on loan. (Herald - subscription required)
  19. I'm trying to get rid of a few Baily Rice from under my decking. Ideas welcome.
  20. I thought I'd seen every disappointment I could have in my many years following them but even I was surprised at losing a 3-0 lead Tynecastle in 25 mins.
  21. I like Ward. You can see he's vocal and an organiser of the defense and he's also comfortable with the ball at his feet. My only issue is he reminds me very much of Kelly. Not the tallest, weak at cross balls and generally reluctant to come off his line. Ox was flying before his last injury. I'd be more than happy to see him back between sticks.
  22. A pessimistic attitude, without going full blown MJC is the best solution for following Motherwell, it means you never get disappointed 😃
  23. I think we have one already when McGhee is match fit, given he can allegedly play at centre half, time will tell.
  24. I see George Long (2015 play-off keeper) has just moved from Norwich to Southampton on loan. I thought he was down in the lower reaches these days. Good to hear and will done him!
