I think its accepted he is currently our first choice right back though. Id be surprised if JBA thinks that is sufficient cover.....
-
And was a disaster there..
-
Is he back available for tomorrow’s game?
- Today
-
Koutroumbis started the first game of the season at left back,
-
-
Oh totally. Boy needs games to see if he can develop past this current plateau that he is on. Not currently what we need at left back, but who knows, he could be in the future. We definitely do need cover for Longelo though. Dynamic fullbacks are integral to how we are playing.
-
My thoughts too Joe. Having said that this move doesn't surprise me, as Ewan Wilson has failed to develop after a promising start and soesn't seem to fit our current system.
-
I presume we must have signed another left back who is still to be announced. Otherwise we are pretty short there, with only SOD or Halliday ever having played there before? Neither have the legs to do what Longelo does.....
-
............................. on loan till January
-
Wilson is off to raith rovers

I'm with you 100% on that. Success in Europe only benefits a handful of our biggest clubs on a frequent basis. UEFA and FIFA are rotten from the core and are only interested in the big boys. The rich get richer and all that. As far as I know, solidarity payments are made not just to us, but also to our rivals. as you say, £5-8m to the likes of Hibs would only harm our chances of finishing in the top 4/5 and winning a domestic trophy. Nothing personal against Hibs or Aberdeen but its just by helping them, it disadvantages us. As far as I'm concerned, it was a good set of European results for us. International football doesn't interest me.
-
This. I don't mind giving certain ex players and managers a bit of stick, but I'd much rather be getting behind our players as our 4th or 5th goal hits the back of the net.
-
I'd like to think the first....either way he's too slow
-
Two absolutely useless organisations.
-
Chunked up, as in lifting too many weights, or not eating properly?
-
I sway back and forth on the issue. I do hate what UEFA and FIFA are doing to football as its a reflection generally of society, with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. That said, its the world that we live in, so, short of giving football up altogether, we as fans just thave to roll with it. Re the specific point on co-efficient? I dont get overly exercised about it. It would be nice if we didnt have to play so many qualifiers to reach a group stage when we do actually qualify, but you ultimately still have to beat better teams to get there. That being the case I just go with how I feel. I generally like to see the Scottish teams do well as I think it reflects better on the country and our league. A bit of pride / self respect if you like. And there is the solidarity payments which cant be ignored. I quite enjoyed the Hibs game last night (they are comfortably the best Scottish team Ive seen this season) and I would have liked to have seen Aberdeen progress. Even if it is just for the selfish reason of making it harder for them to balance upcoming league games! Rangers and Celtic not so much. Its quite amusing to see Rangers eat themselves alive and Celtic blow the chance to remain streets ahead of their rivals for years to come by maintaining their biscuit tin mentality. But generally? Not gonna lose any sleep over it. Its all about what we do thats most important for me, so a win and 3 points tomorrow is my priority!
-
He needs more than games I hate to say it, unfortunately don't think he's good enough! He's chunked up that much he can hardly run and because of that never takes on a man, always passes backwards and inside. Pity as I thought we had another find from the youth teams this time last season but he has totally regressed since.

Been awhile

Bored talking about him, he done great to steady ship after hammell and of course the Bair deal was awesome. But for me the way he left and dragged support under bus and then that interview with Oprah mcgregor was final straw. But as already said I DON'T want toxic atmosphere and JB also hinting that. Let's get right behind team and pump killie, that would be perfect reply
-
Correct! No easy games. We are certainly capable of taking 3 points but need to continue to play well and keep our focus for the full game, taking our chances when they come along.
-
I actually support the non old firm teams in Europe but no interest supporting the old firm, they were desperate to leave our league for years so couldn't give a toss about us. Ps. My old fashion cocktail going down a treat!! 😎😎
-
We need a central defender with a bit height to him and is comfy playing the way Jens wants to play out from the back. I am not confident that McGinn,Gordon shall be available for the whole season and i dont think Balmer is that fancied so a CB is a must.
-
Back the team and ignore everything else. This game will be harder that alot of people expect. Killie are no mugs. Seldom do we get easy games.
-
In one hand it's good that teams fail to be successful and get financial reward which widens gaps to others. But on the other hand them being successful might remove qualifying ties which makes it easier for us to get to the group stages and financial reward. Cup wins do seem the easier route.
-
Not really sure what intimidating atmosphere means. But I think the crowd should Channel the energy into backing the team. I think some people are of the opinion that the best think we can do to annoy SK is to ignore him but of course I’m sure there are many who want to have a go at him. You pay your money you take your choice. I’m just hoping our performance on the park keeps us us enthralled and that we have no time to even think about SK ‘cause we are enjoying watching our team so much
