  1. Past hour
  2. Did they have bananas 🍌 in they days grandad.
  3. I remember when we drew them away in the cup in what must have been the early 80s. It was a nil - nil draw at Ochilview, but we won comfortably in the replay. 6 - 1, if my old memory isn't playing tricks.
  4. stenhousemuir always triggers an old memory for me when we beat them at fir park, in the Scottish cup, I think. Andy Weir scored the winning goal for us in a 3-2 victory. I think it was the Motherwell times the described his goal as a banana shot. 😂😂 I’m thinking that was maybe mid 60’s??
  5. Definitely and there is an incentive for us to get through. You’d expect Celtic to beat Dundee Utd removing the latter from the Quarters and also that Del and Rangers take care of St.Mirren so we won’t need to worry about playing them in a Cup tie in this tournament.
  6. Happy enough with this draw though Stenhousemuir sailed through their group so it’s definitely not a gimme. Hopefully we don’t burn ourselves out in the (potential) European game on the Thursday night because this one is more important. We won’t be able to wear our new Claret away kit for this one either, which isn’t a bad thing.
  7. Some good games in that draw.
  8. Today
  9. If I’m correct then due to us playing on the Thursday, the game will be on the Sunday or Monday but if we get through against HJK - a big if I know - will it be on the Sunday or will the Scottish league screw us for money if Premier want to screen it live on the Monday?
  10. We'll need a league squad and a cup squad, like the big teams.
  11. Are the winning numbers posted anywhere? Missed the draw at the game
  12. The quadruple is still on 😂
  13. 3-0 Stenny..........I am stealing MJC's thunder 🤣🤣
  14. Year of the good draw!
  15. Away to stenhousemuir in last 16, happy with that
  16. Most clubs including ours used to sing it long before they got their manky paws on it.
  17. Yep! RCC trying to swap jerseys before the match had finished. Not sure how Ref missed it.
  18. He had a good game let things flow, is that no what all refs have been instructed to do after the World Cup. Also he missed a stone wall penalty for HB I think it was Cooke, just after he came on, pulled the guys shirt as he was about to put it in infront of the goal.
  19. Yes, I thought he had a good game. A pleasant change from our usual standard of officiating.
  20. No VAR helped too. So even if there were any decisions players didn't agree with, they all had to keep going. No waiting for reviews, and goals were goals and could be instantly celebrated.
  21. I know your joking but it's believed the extinct club sang it before the septic in Scotland
  22. 8 match suspension for you
  23. Did anyone think the referee had a good game. Lots next to me commented that it was refreshing to see one trying to keep the game flowing and not blow for every tackle and flash yellows like they're going out of fashion like we've been used to from Collums robots. Cant remeber much about him or any major controversial decision tbh. Maybe he could have shown Havnar a couple of yellows for late tackles but other than that pretty unnoticeable in my eyes which is a nice change.
