You do know that if you punt an under contract player you still need to pay their wages. Or do you think someone is going to take a "diddy" on a transfer basis?

The other managers don't say "we'll get beat". But they do say "They have a strong squad, some great players, good home record, if we are to get a result we'll need to be at our best and they will need to be sub-par, and we'll need some luck" Which just means "we'll get beat".

+1 on Dolphin for Android. If you are on iOS, Photon Browser works pretty well. (just click on the lightning bolt to switch into flash mode). I haven't tried Skyfire or Puffin on iOS, but those are two other common options.

A well balanced midfield has ball winners and ball players. I don't remember many people complaining that Davie Cooper and Bobby Russell weren't doing enough tracking back. Too much emphasis on hard work over skill is why the Scottish game suffered over the years.

Drifting in and out of games is often what ball players do; especially if their team mates dont pass to them. It's all about balance of course, but you can't fill a midfield with Craig Reids and hope to open a defence with a killer pass.

I think the idea is that it's open every night, not just on game days. Having said that, I don't think we have enough local support for that to be viable either.

Surely nobody playing regular first team football at our level would want to join a team battling relegation.

If we don't get relegated, will you cheer up a bit? Investigation/Inquiry is certainly overdramatic. Every business has regular reviews of its performance and I'm sure our Board is no different. Having said that, it's pretty well documented how and why we ended up in the state we're in, it just seems many posters on here either haven't bothered to keep up or are looking for something more sinister as a reason. Unlike many who want to point fingers, however, I expect our new owner will be looking at ways to move forward in a positive way rather than live in the past. That tends to be how successful business people operate - learn and move on.
