Welldaft Mk1 513 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 6-2 to Well Ladies. To be fair the Rangers team were in fact under 20's, but they had some decent players. Went along tonite as is only 5 minute drive from home. Reasonable turnout. 1st ladies game I have seen and we win a CUP..... Was a decent game with some decent goals. WELL done the ladies. Noticed in the programme we beat Falkirk ladies 14-0 in the semi final. 8 wins out of 8 in the league with 100 goals for and only 3 against. +97 GD
Welldaft Mk1 513 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 Congratulations, but the standard is absolutely terrible. They win about 30 nil every week. Without going into detail. The Motherwell ladies team were put together on the basis we would compete in top league. We were then stuck in one of 4 regional leagues Division 2 of the Scottish women's league. Hence why we are winning most games by 10 goals. All that said they did recently beat Hutchinson Vale of the top league 4-0 :-)
keebo86 6 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 Went along as currently exiled in edinburgh thought it was a good game. This is clearly a team playing lower than they should be. However they played some good football the second goal was a cracker. Was nice to see burrows there taking pictures and helping out. Shows we really are a community club. Also nice to say I've seen well win a cup in my lifetime!
Kmcalpin 1,020 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 You can only beat the team in front of you. Well done to the Ladies side though. A great result and performance. Their team is doing us proud.
Spiderpig 713 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 Womens footie,it will never replace the real thing. But bloody typical you wait 13 years for a win against Rangers and then 3 turn up at once, so well done to the Ladies.
bladesman 43 Report post Posted June 25, 2015 Congrats to all concerned with MFC ladies! First 2 goals were crackers, lost 2 goals to sloppy defending and then showed sevco ladies what it was all about in the 2nd half! 1st time watching ladies match and really impressed with the Well lasses going forward. Good turnout at a tidy wee ground! Great night all round!!
faddythedaddy 238 Report post Posted June 25, 2015 Surprised nobody has stated yet that some of them could do us a turn. Which would be quite frankly, ridiculous. Edit: ahh just saw other thread haha yes mate

underboyleheating 1,403 Report post Posted June 25, 2015 Humping Rangers at any level has to be celebrated. A few of my wife’s co-workers play for the team and I went through last night to give them some support. Rangers were a good side, however, our experienced proved too much for them in the second half.
ropy 637 Report post Posted June 28, 2015 They are at it again, 2-0 up at half time in a top of the table tussle with Hearts

mfc_in_the_community 12 Report post Posted July 8, 2015 Good news about Pammy committing for another year yeah fantastic news. A great player and a true professional. Just loves it at Motherwell and coaches our girls Under 11 squad.
mfc_in_the_community 12 Report post Posted July 8, 2015 Where do the Ladies play?Hi Busta. At the. Omens they don't have a home pitch although the last few games have been played at Ravenscraig. Should be a couple of games at Fir Park hopefully during the second part of the season which kicks of August 2nd.

wee_alpha 14 Report post Posted November 2, 2015 Congratulations to our Ladies team who won their league title yesterday. Don't think they lost a single league game! Mad Dog 89 Report post Posted November 2, 2015 I'm unsure of the league structure so do our ladies now get promoted to the Women's Premier League? Doesn't make sense for them to keep on thrashing (and denting the confidence) of the teams that they've faced this season.
