Likewise. I also still regard McAllister to have been the most successful player we produced in my lifetime.
No idea what happened to him after he stopped playing. Seems to have disappeared from the game.
Whatever happens I just hope it gets done and dusted soon so we can get on with the season and that goes for any other transfer activity going on that we may or may not know about.
Celtic is the ideal destination for him.
If he develops as a player he'll get a move down south. If he doesn't he can count on a decade or more of easy money like Brown, Forrest and McGregor.
Couldn't agree more. DT has signed contracts twice over the last 18 months that has allowed us to maximise the fee we receive. He could have let his contract run down in the same way that Hastie did but chose to sign a new deal in January 2019. The extension last season also means he still has a couple of years on his contract now.
Wish he was going elsewhere but good luck to the lad.
Unlikely we'll get the facts. It will be "undisclosed" + reported to be in the region of + a statement from the club saying best deal ever.
Details won't appear anywhere.
There are a number of English teams and at least one German team monitoring his situation closely
Watch this space, Celtic will not have it all their own way
Any fee less than £3m for Turnbull is a 2 finger salute to our club by its own chief exec.
But £2.7m, add-ons we will never see and 2 youth players? Thats a special kind of clown that accepts a deal that poor. Whats the fucking point?
Exactly i hear all this talk about our strikers cant score, they get fcuk all decent ball. Robinson bemoaned strikers not taking advantage of great delivery from Turnbull. Turnbull played well but his corners were just as bad as everyone elses. 18 corners and lucky if two weren't pish. Ill judge our strikers once i see any of them getting decent service
