  1. This shitfest of a soccer ball win was brought to you by Verizon, in Association with the Scotch Premier League Sports Devision where the Mothers of Lanark-shire pounded to a one to zero victory against the Saints of Perth. This message was brought to you by Verizon

  4. I never thought i would say this after the first 2 or 3 games this season but mugabi is coming on leaps and bounds,he had another good game today and actually doesn't look to bad with the ball at his feet now, long may it continue.

  5. Lang has held the ball up well but not one striker in our squad has shown any sign of being dangerous so far this season, it's a real problem.

  6. The streaming of games is bringing a fresh aspect to the Scottish game. I assume Euan Anderson added 9 and a half additional minutes at the end to make up for the time that my stream was down?

  8. Game we had to win. And we did. Other than that? Every problem is still there. Still a hell of a lot of paddling to be done to get out of shit creek.

  9. I would probably be described by some on here as a happy clapper but I found today quite depressing. We got a perfect start but did not kick on from there. Our performance was no better than v Livi Accies or DU. No pace in our team going forward. The lack of quality wingers has forced us onto 3-5-2. Hastie was a mistake and Hylton and Seedorf are no more than impact subs. Scott on one side to get us up the park and the speed of Cole or Aaron's or Gboly on the other is what we are missing. Unless there are changes I see a relegation battle ahead. One positive was that Robinson often maligned for his subs got them right today. The game was slipping away from us and he saw the problem and shored up the midfield.

  10. I think it was probably worth a shot, we needed someone out wide and to be fair he was still rated by a lot of Motherwell supporters. Sadly I think even at this stage he’s looking like someone that got a big move on the back of a short, hot streak. I still feel McGinlay could end up being a very good signing.

  11. I’ve seen a few comments from Rangers fans saying they hope to see Hastie back at Ibrox soon. It’s one of the few times I’ve agreed with them...

  12. Well Mcginley has to be better than Lamie in the back 3.

  13. I don't believe it's a 3-5-2 . Today was 5-3-2. Mcginley is not a player who'll go up and down the line. if we keep 3-5-2 we need to play Hastie and hope he comes good. I'd be cool with a 4 - 3 - 3 and just play Long/Watt/Lang together up front.

  14. It was the physio that fucked him. Possibly Yodo but i doubt it.

  15. Indeed. Lamie is murder. Total liability.

  16. Delighted with the 3 points. My stress levels preferred it when we dominated possession and drew.

  17. McGinley left mid. Should probably just be grateful it's not right mid tbh

  20. Good point well made, life is better when you find reason to moan about everything.

  21. Another plea from me...please keep the ball on the deck. Give our striker(s) a chance by playing it on the ground.

  22. If it was just the players' fault we wouldn't be seeing the same pattern repeat itself year after year for 20 years. The issue runs much deeper than that, and starts at the grass roots level. I keep banging on about it , but when France had the problem of under performing teams, they put a ten year plan in place to develop players from the ground up. A plan they stuck with even after an early minor disaster of blowing a World Cup qualification in 1994. They followed it through and ended up with a national team that won the Euros and the World Cup. Meanwhile, when Strachan took over the international job he went on record with his surprise at the squads' poor technical skills and how he had to quickly dumb-down the tactics he wanted to use because the players were incapable of executing. Once the rot sets in, it takes more then swapping in new players to fix it. The whole system needs shaking up and there has been nobody in the SFA with the courage to change it. That's how you end up with Malky Mackay as the performance director for the past 4 years. (Any idea what he does? Me either.) We don't have the infrastructure in place to develop international teams, and I don't see anything that makes me think there is appetite for change.

  23. It’s a wake up call for Gallagher imo as sure he will be disappointed to be left out but his form needs to improve as nowhere near last years levels . He’s been left out to play McKenna who is a press daring for some reason although I think he’s hopeless , and a central midfielder and it’s not down to Scotland performances it’s his current form . Would hope he now steps up at club level and plays to last years standard and if he does he will stay in squad if he does not can see him disappearing from squad never mind team . He’s not only 1 below last years levels a few need to step up in the coming weeks but he’s Captain so needs to lead by example

  24. I attempted to shoehorn some C&A into a Macron training shirt competition design. Sadly, Scotland never went for it.
