Last night confirmed for me that we’ll not see Shields and Maguire play for Motherwell again. They’re both just about good enough for Queens and Dundee, but that’s it.2 points

Has to be KVV but for me fair play to young Jimmy Furlong who put that gallus annoying twat Armstrong in his place first half. Also butcher, Dan the Man and Spittal deserve praise1 point

KVV for me. Some of his touches and flicks today were stand out. His goal, set up Spittal who should have scored, turned the defender and got hauled down and few other instances. Entertaining to watch glad he got at least 1 goal.1 point

Spittal for me. Not a vintage performance from anyone today but he got the crucial opener and when he's given the ball there's generally a feeling he'll do something useful with it. Repeating myself but he's been a totally different player since Kettlewell came in and that's no accident.1 point

Keep the points rolling in. Realistic that we could get 7th and be the only club outside top 4 with a positive goal difference.1 point

Excellent, gritty performance despite the best efforts of whistle happy Kevin Clancy to stop the game at every turn. He really is dire. Agree that the long stoppage in the first half put us right off our stride but we recovered well and dug in in the second. KVV really is on another level right now, that first touch for his goal was sublime and right out of the top drawer. Spittal pulling the strings in midfield was great also and he was my choice for MOTM. COYW1 point

I've always been of the opinion that if you must send something to VAR they get 30 seconds to look at it. If you can't see an error or incident in that time there was nothing clear and obvious and you move on. I never had any confidence in VAR being implemented well in Scotland and I have seen no reason yet to change my mind.1 point

Aye, this season's kit hasn't suited Slattery too well, looks good on Blaney though.1 point

Safety as good as guaranteed. A wonder goal to seal the deal. If KVV is playing his last few games for Motherwell then what a way to sign off. The 2-2 draw at FP derailed our season so it is nice to seal the deal with a win against Killie to put the demons of that game well and truly behind us. The planning can begin for next season. Well done to the team and SK.1 point

He’s almost single handedly kept us up this season. A proper striker and a proper goalscorer. They don’t come along too often for us and they shouldn’t come cheap. If anyone wants to buy him this summer then they need to be prepared to stump up a reasonable offer.1 point

Honestly think he's the only one offering anything. The team performance overall is lethargic and disjointed. Would nice to see a bit of footy being played in the second half1 point

KVV kicks Taylor in the side, he goes down clutching his head wtf?1 point

Mandron starts....jeez!! Happy enough with rest of side. Going to put a £1 on Slattery yellow card....I'll get £1.20 back!! Lol1 point

Ross County will absolutely be in the bottom 2 so there is only really one spot teams need to avoid. It's highly unlikely Kilmarnock and Dundee Utd win most of their games and if they do they are beating Ross County and St Johnstone who are both below us anyway. They also have to play each other. We should be fielding youngsters every week.1 point

In all honesty if he hadn't scored that goal and we had finished bottom 6 there is a chance we could have been relegated. Just my opinion but I don't think Lamie as bad as he is made out, think difference now is we have 2 very good defenders in Casey And Butcher1 point

It’s very much in our hands just now and we can secure safety today with a win. Whether we do or not is another matter entirely. Absolutely massive game today.1 point

First of all, I believe we will gather enough points to avoid any last game drama. And so does MJC by the tone of his posts. But looking at the remaining fixtures for Kilmarnock and Utd, anybody who is writing them off from winning three games minimum is kidding themselves. So we need at least one win. Both of them. like us, have been handed winnable home ties. County on the other hand need a miracle, being due to meet all three of us away from home. And St Johnstone will be in more danger than us if results pan out as expected. So we should be safe but it is far from guaranteed. It's in our own hands, we are playing well and with that home game against County as a fail safe I am fairly relaxed about our prospects. The sooner it is done and dusted the better though.1 point

His goal against Livi last season which secured us top 6 both got him a new contract and saved Alexander's job. I wish he hadn't scored that.1 point

Abuse Morris got also shocking as is the constant booing of SOD. These guys maybe not good enough but I don't agree with the pelters they take1 point

That was an interesting read and very reassuring but 3% does seem optimistic. If Killie and Utd win this weekend the table will read MWell. 37 DUtd. 34 Killie. 34 St Johnstone 33 With 4 games still to play after this weekend it would all be a little too tight for comfort. I am confident we will get there in the end but there may be some twists and turns yet. A win tomorrow however would put things beyond reasonable doubt1 point
