It's a must-win home game against our relegation playoff spot rival. Nothing less than 3 points will suffice.3 points

Excellently put. I initially said it was "must not lose", but let's be honest, it's must win.2 points

A lot of talk about Spittal’s contract, but we need to get McGinn tied up, he was excellent today.2 points

I'm curious, have you ever played football at any level? School fitba, 5's with your pals, or kicking a can against a wall? I seriously fucking doubt it, because frankly, that's a ridiculous statement. He was given the sacrificial lamb role and pretty much executed it to perfection. What the fuck do you actually expect from someone performing this role? Absolute gobshite patter.2 points

And what is the big deal with Halliday being a Rangers fan? None. Zero. I would suspect very few of our players support Motherwell. As for Kettlewell who he supports away from managing us is completely his business. We had Terry Butcher as our manager. Didn't see many people crying over that.2 points

I had exactly the same thought earlier. Great minds think alike or fools seldom differ? Its all I can come up with by way of an explanation.1 point

I think Paton is getting too much unnecessary stick just now and Halliday is an important player to have on the park.1 point

Thanks mate. I can't see anything on P&B, so I'll call the club tomorrow and update the thread in case others are in the same boat. Have a feeling this could be a cracker... Already coming down with cup fever.1 point

You know exactly what it means, but you chose to respond with some patronising shite, "The laziest clichés in the worst newspapers" aye OK then 🤦♂️1 point

It means that we cannot afford to lose against our direct rival at home, because our form since September suggests we're certainly not going to start winning against the teams further up the table anytime soon. We need to be picking up 3 points against those around us or else we’ll likely finish 11th at best. Put simply, another draw would mean our form is 1 win in 20 league games. That is a disaster, and if you don't think so, then so be it.1 point

It's a double edged sword , as you say too many draws keeps us near the bottom but as long as we keeping getting points and not losing we pull clubs who may hit a bad run into the mix. The more clubs in the mix the bigger chance we have of escaping. Look at Hibs they've been utter shite and are now only 4 points ahead of us . Dundee are supposed to be having a great season and they are only 4 points ahead of us. If we keep putting points on the board when we do get a win it can move us up quite quickly as well as pulling others into the grubber.1 point

I don't know why that would alter folk booing him today. He was out to damage us today, so he was fair game. Tom Boyd captained us in the Cup win but I'd boo that bastard every minute of every day .. I'd boo the cunt if I saw him going to the ice cream van 😁😁1 point

Also I like Paton and he gets a hard press. Never hides and loads of energy. Yep never going to get goals but attitude can't be faulted1 point

bair for being a big handful or mcginn for being mcginn......................................the bair gets it for that goal, cause the closer he got to the goals the more convinced i was the ball was going into the killie fans1 point

Deserved win today. No failures in team . Bair outstanding and keep that up and he is going to be a Legend. Yes I know it's just a draw but no one can deny that the lads are not battling. I think everyone doing a shift including Halliday who is a talker and organising things. Tuesday is massive so let's all produce the 2nd half encouragement. All together now.....COYWWWWWW1 point

I don't agree with you about Halliday or Kettlewell. And there are plenty people not on here who think Paton had a decent game today. You're entitled to your opinion but does it make you feel good constantly running our team and manager down ? Kettlewell didn't mention Halliday in his post match interview. So how you think he's the main man is beyond me. You are just being snide for the sake of it because you want Kettlewell sacked I'll edit this to say that you do give players credit when it's due. But it's blatantly obvious you have a major problem with the manager.1 point

We were piss poor for 30 mins, we settled and should have won it. Thought it was a could leading up to Millie's goal but will wait for TV evidence . We should have beat Hibs, St J and now Kilmarnock. Very frustrating but the fact team are not dominating us and we keep chipping away with points could be crucial. We could see Hibs dragged into the fight. They are pish and now only 4 points ahead of us. Three points against RC could be huge. Thought Theo had a great game and Mr reliable McGinn had another good solid performance.1 point

Bair has been superb of late. If he is a ‘project’ then it’s working. His confidence has improved significantly since mid/late December.1 point

Some folk need to wring there knickers oot. Thought we actually played well for the best part in horrible conditions and probably deserved the three points. The first ten minutes they never got a sniff but typically the first time they ventured forward they got a few set pieces before they scored with the first effort they had. Quite surprised it stood as it looked a foul on Davor, esph with similar instances he pulled up for incidents involving Armstrong. I thought Paton, Spittal and Bair all played really well together, some nice phases of play but need to be more clinical. Paton could probably have won a penalty as McKenzie was pulling him as he drove into the box but he stayed on his feet. I can't remember Killie having much efforts on goal. They were however happy to volley anything that walked.1 point

Belter of a draw, buzzin with that. Conceding early is just what we needed. Not playing any of the wing backs we signed was a master stroke. Harry Paton man of the match performance. Name a stand after Kettlewell.1 point

Its a strange feeling that we've won, what is it? 1 in 18 now? Could get pumped 5-0 today, and the managers job is still safe as houses to the point where pointing this out makes you the bad guy in manys eyes.1 point

What does that even mean? That reads like the laziest clichés in the worst newspapers. If we get something less than 3 points is there some new rule that means we're forbidden from winning any more games this season? I suppose "good to win game, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster and even if we lost we've started to show better form that will likely pick up sufficient points to stay safe this season" match is a bit long winded.0 points

It's pretty obvious that Mika left because he was fed up playing for an idiot manager and shit team.0 points
