That's the spirit. Keep up the negativity. Maybe one day you will post something positive.6 points

I really dont know what this team and manager need to do to please some folk. We were far from perfect today, but we dominated the game for 60 minutes, shoulda been outta sight before Levein spun the wheel with his subs, scored and goal and gave us a nervous 10 - 15 minutes. After that we dug in, got ourselves back in the game and deservedly scored the winner. For all our faults (and the managers) this team has something. Previous Motherwell teams would have found a way to lose that game. This one found a way to win it. If you cant be happy with that you need to find a different hobby. Given our injury list and fixture schedule, I would have bitten your hand off for 7 points at this stage. We now have a couple of weeks to rest and recuperate. Hopefully one or two will be closer to a return and the manager can get some fitness into the legs of those that need it (looking at you Tony!) Overall, it was a pretty decent day out.5 points

I think we can be pretty certain he's not the White Pele. Sounded like a deserved victory. 7 points from 4 matches is a good tally going into the break, 9 matches this season and only a Butland save from being undefeated. Decent start to the season considering some of the discussion.3 points

I am not a happy clapper bur some of the negativity pre and during match is unbelievable. Would just like to point out we are 4th and in quarters of league cup so good start so far to season COYW3 points

Just back from the game. Good Motherwell support there who backed the team well. We were in total control of this game until St Johnstone equalised. We became a wee bit disjointed for a period after that but got the win we probably deserved. No absolute stand outs for man of the match, no failures but I'd give it to either Casey or Graham. Probably Casey for his hand in the winner.2 points

He has a better win record than any other Motherwell manager in modern times. I think the only better ratio is davie hay and going back to George Stevenson in the 50s I think he deserves a new deal and I have no idea who you would pick that could do a better job than he’s doing at the moment. I think folk who continually verbally assault him are mentally challenged.2 points

read what you wrote........we had NO shots on target until the 91st minute. Away into yer miserable wee cupboard and pray for the next defeat.2 points

He had the perfect situation at Fir Park where he was guaranteed to play 90 minutes every week no matter what and was able to have games when he was totally off the boil or started slowly. At Hearts he has pressure to impress in what will be shorter and shorter appearances and major competition for places. I don't see it suiting him and he'll need a major attitude change from when he was here when he would wave off his own errors then bawl out his team mates if they made mistakes. St Mirren are probably already circling.2 points

Loved today. Went with my 12 year old son and 13 year old son. 13 year old was not that into football but that last 5 mins got him hooked. From the injustice of the denied penalty. The way well played. The last minute goal. He even didn't criticise lack of hotdogs in cafe. Thank you mangers and players. Loved end applause to fans. Great day out. Even dropped mother in law and wife off for a day in Perth.1 point

It depends on the game. He's a poacher and does the business in the box. If we're expected to be on top and playing on the front foot he's our man. If we're expected to be on the backfoot then he shouldn't start.1 point

Had a close encounter with 2 of the Bois today and I have to say they were polite and helpful. You treat folk as you find them.1 point

There is no way we were rotten. We did what we needed to do without reaching the heights of the Hearts game.1 point

Time to cut Stuart Kettlewell a bit of slack I think Was mentioned before today’s game he has a 43% win ratio . No doubt a few people will say most were in his first 3 months , and a few cup wins against diddy teams If you then think all the draws when we could have lost , and defeats where we have still been competitive more often than not, in the recent past before this we may have lost 4,5 or 6 he has done a good job in my opinion1 point

I think he's great.... That statement will be a surprise to no one1 point

Have you ever been on this forum before? There are one or two who are only happy when we lose.1 point

Funny that. Other sources say we had six shots on target. Get back in yer box till we lose again.1 point

We went 91 minutes without a shot on target from open play then Moses getting a good shot leads to a succession of corners then he poaches one. He needs to start.1 point

But maybe we haven't signed a dozen duds, let's see how things pan out, positive thinking pal1 point

Out of control tackle is now not a red card offence. Better bookmark that.1 point

Did this guy not tell you we'd signed a couple of their players on pre-contracts?1 point

Away and 'support' some other team. Glasgow blue or green should be right up your street.1 point

Very quick to give fouls against us, and lets a few questionable fouls in our box go. He was also appeared not to know what to do with the very long var decision.1 point

That corner feels like a bit of retribution for the two they scored last season. We are toiling in centre mid here and Robinson offers nothing. Defence are doing well though.1 point

It's not that bad. It's a rolling contract, so there's always gonnae be 12 months added on. Protects us financially if another club poaches Ketts and if we do pull the trigger on him at any point, the outlay won't hit the club as hard as when GA was sacked1 point

So we are rewarding mediocrity unbelievable . Win 2 in a row and all is forgotten1 point

Well I have to question why we are dishing them out a new contract right now. Surely it would have been more sensible to get past the winter break to see if they are going to deliver or not? I don't have anything against Kettlewell however I think to award a new deal on the back of a couple of wins this early on on the season is a bit premature.1 point

Kettlewell and Frail have signed new rolling contracts, whatever that means. Their previous contracts ran until the end of this season.1 point

That's all you had to say re Spittal and his move to Hearts, who can blame him.1 point

Need to show the same intensity and effort as we did against Hearts and convert our chances in when they come along.1 point
