Chased every ball. Commitment levels so high. I can get behind that every week.3 points

Next time we're looking for a manager, you should start a rumour that Thom Bollah is up for the job and see how long it takes to get in the Sun or the Record.3 points

Hope his family don’t read it…. Don’t want him going in the huff, having a cry and resigning.1 point

Thought it was nice that Wimmer gave a shout out to Paton for his hand in the second goal1 point

Love it when they prove me wrong. Never saw that coming. Night and day to the utter, utter dross we've watched for months. No failures in the team every one of them burst their arse for the cause. Losing the late goal it could have been so easy to retreat and try and hold on for a point as we'd have done under SK. However they kept pressing forward. When its a single goal the opposition is going to throw the kitchen sink at us. I don't care what the SOD haters think , and I agree he's been poor of late , but he covered every part of the pitch tonight and put in a lot of saving interventions. I sincerely hope the squad is better than I give them credit for but its been a bloody long time since we play football on the front foot and that was enjoying to watch, although nervy at the end.1 point

Can certainly see a few positive changes taking shape. Hopefully we can build on it before we run out of steam in the second half.1 point

we've moaned our backsides all season about lack of midfield - good to see that addressed. Really want to see us hitting the back of the net and give us something to cheer.1 point

This is a team set up to retain possession. Are we looking at a 1-0 tonight?1 point

Reminds me of the time years ago when we moved season ticket seats, at the first game of the season, from kickoff the guy behind us was giving players abuse for any wee mistake/poor pass etc, after 20 minutes my brother stood up turned round and shouted at the guy FFS it’s 20 minutes into the season, will you shut your mouth and give them a chance! Never seen that guy again for the rest of the season - wonder if it’s the same guy1 point

Aye. I know that me and a few other ST pals are using the £3 offer to bring other non-ST pals. It should be a decent crowd.1 point

I’m a ST holder but rarely make it to midweek games due to work/family/etc., but I’m not missing this one. I’m thoroughly looking forward to supporting Wimmer and the team tonight.1 point

What we’ve watched until recently is a team instructed to follow tactics that saw us playing (often at home) with around 30% possession. How can that be acceptable when the one sure thing in football is the opposition won’t score if our team holds on to the football? Assuming we now strive for 60 or 70% more possession, we might be in with a better chance of scoring more goals and reducing the opposition’s time to score against us. So our new manager’s change of tactic/emphasis hopefully will see us avoid the drop. I feel enough confidence in him to believe this and, regardless of skill or talent, a boost in application also can effect improvement1 point

Balcombe Case Gordon. Balmer Koutrombis. Thompson Miller Sparrow. Paton Maswanhise. Armstrong No SOD and Halliday to come on if we need to defend a lead1 point

I don't understand your negativity as your were always positive about bellend even after he had lied his way out the door . The vast majority on here and every well fan I know was glad to see the back of that charlatan. Try and be positive and have patience with the new manager as he has inherited a squad of players that many are not up to the standard required for this league. I certainly am looking forward to see what he can achieve.1 point
