But there are a fair few poor squads in this league (we were beaten by one yesterday) so getting a couple of results shouldn't be beyond any coach that belongs at this level. His persevering with a shape that's not working, with a keeper that can't catch a cold and with playing our best player out of position is fuck all to do with Kettlewell...

The support have consistently turned up for this shower of shite and more often than not it has made no difference at all, and I don't see that changing next weekend. The fans will do their bit, regardless, and be let down as usual by this squad of utter shitebags.

Exactly,the sending off is way down the list of reasons why we lost that game yesterday,you could tell after 10 minutes exactly what kind of performance we were going to put in,even with 10 men there needs to be some kind of plan to get back into the game but yet even with a man less all we did was kick it away.we struggle everytime the opposition is a man down but yet don't have a clue when the shoe is on the other foot.im at the point now where I hate this current team and want the season done,it doesn't matter what 11 is on the park its same old same old,none of them take any responsibility,take the second goal yesterday as example as if the first wasn't bad enough,we let the cross ball come all the way to the back post and not one of our players even made an attempt to jump and challenge for it,then they all look about gormless at each other,the sooner the majority of them have all fucked off and doing that elsewhere the better.

We can argue backwards and forwards about how poor this Motherwell side is but the sending off was the primary reason for the defeat. Even after a poor 25 mins there is still the chance to turn the game around. The sending off killed the game, partly because we were poor anyway but primarily because of the man disadvantage. There surely has to be some belief that your team can get back in the game even after a poor start if you keep a full compliment of players. There were a few posts saying that Hearts would definitely win today. They lost, the 10 men almost certainly being the most significant factor in the loss. This has a feel like the Alexander European season. Terrible from Christmas and then produced a victory against Hearts from nowhere. I am not really concerned about top 6 permutations. What is more important is that a win against Hearts would probably get us over the line from a relegation perspective. To put a different spin on things, if we beat Hearts they will be in a relegation dogfight. They can't be that good if they are in a similar situation to us after 32 games of the season. Anything is possible next weekend as St Johnstone proved today.

I agree mate too much doom and gloom, the fans will turn up as usual and hope for a win, that's all we can do, if it's not enough to make the top 6 then so be it, we then have 5 games to avoid the playoff spot.

It would seem Hearts have also been shafted this week by an equally incompetant team of match officials, Putting alot of preasure on them for next week. I honestly cant see us taking anything on Saturday, Hope im wrong and we somehow burgal a top 6 finish.

Lot of negativity after last 2 games but fact remains if we beat Hearts we could be top 6. If we win and buddies win then we are bottom 6 but 6 clear of county and probably 6 clear of killie and 12 clear of saints. So Hearts lose today at home to Dundee Utd. That is literally the WORST result that we could have hoped for. Because firstly it’s going to be yet another side coming off a bad result playing against us and needing points. Say no more. And secondly it keeps our outside hopes of top six alive and we all know that that never ends well. I expect the social media team to try and hype this game up all week as a “chance to secure history” and all that nonsense. Videos of players giving sound bites aplenty like Luke Armstrong saying “it can be done” whilst swishing his pony tail. Andy Halliday giving the camera a dead eye stare and saying “it’s time” And Lennon Miller doing a few keepy-uppys and then just nodding. 0-3 Hearts

We've got too many players who have no vested interest in what happens. And sadly that at times seems to apply to some of those, who should have.

Kilmarnock were piss poor but they were all over us when it was 11 v 11. We rarely got out our own half. Back pass boot long, rinse and repeat , that was all we did before and after the sending off. There is every chance they'd still have beaten us. We were absolutely abysmal before and after the sending off and using the sending off ass an excuse papers over an utterly shocking plays. Halliday at the first goal was utterly laughable. Thinking he is a player pissing about on the edge of the box leading to the chaos that resulted in the goal.

Agree. Officiating at so called top level in Scotland is crap. Var not making difference either apart from trying to re referee matches re 1st sending off. Looks like var actively looking to intervene just to prove it's worth and ends up getting it badly wrong. More money to pay these clowns. Some are absolute amateurs. Your right good money wasted. Zero entertainment. I won't be back untill I see big improvement. I actually enjoyed watching my teenage son's club match mutch more and seen more skill there too.

My god we were poor yesterday, but given we were down to 10 men after 26 mins it’s really hard to judge the players on that. I believe the club owe it to their supporters to make a stand this week on what when on with the officiating yesterday. Both red cards are ridiculous decisions. Anyone who’s played football knows the 1st ones not a red, added to that how did the Killie player get away without even a yellow for the 2 handed push into Balmer chest?! Did the ref just completely forget that happened after he went to the screen? The 2nd red is even more ridiculous, what the hell was the linesman doing/saying to the ref given he’s 2/3 yards away and looking right at it?! Thomson is actually pulled onto Armstrong. Then he goes to the screen and changes it from a red to a yellow. The only yellow that should have been given was to Armstrong for the initial foul and the shirt pull. Then we have the 4th official manhandling Thomson to try and get him away from the Killie sub/up the tunnel. Since when was it acceptable for officials to touch players?! Some of us will have spent a small fortune (£27 is mental) travelling down to that game yesterday, which was completely ruined by an incompetent official. Total waste of all our time and money. We’ve now had 3 red cards against Killie, one overturned by VAR, one overturned on appeal and one that should be overturned this week. Couldn’t make it up!

See with me there is nothing about this team to like any of them could leave tomorrow and I just wouldn't care one bit.We always had at least one player that could dig us out of a mess now we don't have that we that. I really don't want to hear a player coming out this week and we have let the fans down utter tripe blah blah blah we want to see some bloody actions on the pitch cause what we are witnessing is a team that's slipped back into old ways very very quickly after two decent performances. Wimmer needs to realise that they can't play how he wants them to play and go back to basics we need to grind out results do something else even draws cause this what we are doing the now with this group just is not happening.

Wimmer keeps talking about getting a ‘picture’ of the players to help him make decisions on tactics and formation. My question is how long will it take for him to get the required ‘picture’ that some of the players he continues to pick should be shown the door now?! Make no mistake, this squad in its current form will see him lose his job next season unless he eviscerates it. But right now, he needs to pick players willing to fight for survival, and there’s not many of them.

Whe got gubbed by Aberdeen and needed a reaction yesterday . we didn’t get any reaction - we offered zero . Had a single shot on target . Talk of the sending off changing the game for me isn’t accurate ,we started badly and continued to play badly . We offered zero moving forward . The manager after a decent start has stopped getting a style of play that he’s asked for . we need a significant change in either approach , shape , personnel for next few games .

The red card was a farce but I just watched nearly 3 mins of highlights and the Well highlights were the Balmer red card and the Thompson potential red card not one pathetic attempt at goal for us to view that itself is truly embarrassing. Two of the weakest goals we have let in all season so so poor.
