  1. Scary stuff, we are 12 points from mathematically not being able to be relegated, 13 from avoiding the play off place. Now 11 points ahead of 6th and chasing down the uglies for 2nd and 3rd 1 goal conceded in 9 matches What a time to be alive

  2. Agreed. The thought of renewing both SODs and McGinn last year seemed mental. Especially after McGinns injury problems. Both of them have been outstanding this season and contribute so much both on and off the park. Who woulda thunk asking footballers to play football would have had such success!

  4. Was a bit scrappy in the first half but we eventually took a grasp of the game after about 20 minutes and ran out deserved winners. Another clean sheet too. If we can get something at Easter Road we have Livingston and Kilmarnock coming up in the league. We have the best defence in the league and are the most consistent performers in the league. BELIEVE.

  5. 7934 crowd, 800 Saints fans , 7134 Home fans truly incredible when you consider how stagnant our crowds have been for years. Average home attendance for the season now 7989.

  6. A very enjoyable and relatively stress free 90 minutes, I'm getting quite used to this. As enjoyable as Tuesday but in a different way. Man for man we were better right across the board, I can't think of a single one of their team I would want at F P. As for that referee, wow!!!!

  8. I think it’s under 4hrs the flight time to UK from Marakesh. I’m sure I came back from Tenerife one year and played 5s that night. My standard hadn’t dropped at all after a 5hr flight. I was still sh1te!!

  10. I liked what the Gaffer said in his interview with the BBC, talking about not worrying about a title charge, building and looking to improve next year. I have a feeling it would take a massive offer for him to move, he is enjoying it here

  11. No way hes in a £5 million bracket. If we were offered £2 million that would a good offer.

  16. They make me eat my words every week. I said last week we wouldn't get over 7000 home fans this season and there you go 7100 home fans. Absolutely incredible to think the last time we had these crowds was when John Boyle took over and was throwing cash about like a man with no arms and the catastrophic consequences that has. Thoroughly enjoyed that game again today but it still rattles my chops that that pile of shite won a trophy this season. They are garbage and there was no more a Robbo masterclass as there was in the semi final.

  17. Our home crowds are increasing for the first time since the 1990s as far as I can see! It’s great to see and appears that us playing attractive football and winning matches regularly does help.

  18. They announced it as 800 odd I think, about 6,950 'Well fans which is quite astonishing but totally deserved given what we are witnessing on the park.

  19. I went for McGinn, but to be fair, the only player that I'd argue against is Callum Ward, as he had nothing to do, and even then he pinged some great passes. Our back 4 handled St Mirren with ease, and I thought mcginn was immense in that. He and Welsh dealt with a much bigger and more physical St Mirren attack, and gave them nothing.

  20. Think this referee needs to be trained up on the advantage rule. He was clueless and hindered us.

  23. Assuming Hendry was just shite šŸ™‚ Hopefully someone made an offer for him. (Yeah, I know you usually do the jokes !)

  24. Yeah, we’re in a strong enough financial position and on an upward trajectory that we don’t need to accept any of the usual pathetic offers from rival clubs, especially when most of our best assets are on good long-term deals anyway.

  25. I know this is the reality for a club like ours. But it would be nice, just once, to be able to keep a group together and build something special. I think this manager and this group of players are capable of winning something, particularly if the gaffer got 2 or 3 windows to do it. The good thing right now is our relatively strong financial position will allow us to see off any lowball offers for our better players. So we shouldnt be losing too many bodies, if any, this month.

  27. Celtic and Rangers being pumped in Europe - ā€œScottish league isn’t strong enoughā€ ā€œno competition in the SPL so it effects us in europeā€ they get competition in the form of Hearts and us and then it’s a case of trying to plunder our players (Barga, TJ, Just, Watt etc)so they don’t get any more domestic competition fkn horrible clubs, horrible fans…. Utter parasites.

  28. I have a real bitterness towards these fuckers. I hope we pump them and would love them to be in a relegation struggle, sadly I don't think they will be. A perennial shower of pedestrian fuckers and they've won three trophies in my lifetime and not one of those teams has been better than our best teams in that period. Am I jealous ? too bloody right I am, let's stick it to them.

  29. With Rangers, Celtic or both definitely dropping points this is a big game for us and a win could be potentially huge. St. Mirren are a bit of a bogey team for us, we've not beaten them in 2025, and they always make it tough and I wouldn't expect anything different this time. However this team just looks like they don't give a fuck who they are playing and our home performances have been excellent minus one half against Falkirk. Like I said ending the year on 36 points would be massive.

  30. We're the talk of the toon. I still find especially Just and Said plus Slattery to an extent very frustrating to watch from a goal-scoring point of view. Could they benefit from being more direct (i.e. taking quick shots, shots from further out and crossing in quicker)?
