We have an ongoing injury problem at the club. Eating barb wire is only going to escalate the problem. They are football players, I guarantee some aren’t the brightest….. I fully expect At least one of them (Wilson) to be on the injury list having a ripped ar5ehole.
First time I’ve listened to him talk to the press. Obviously speaks for himself And his thoughts but very much in the same mold as JBA. So I think MFC has done a great job and that we have the “same but different” and look to be serious about sticking to our new footballing philosophy.
To be honest I don't think we will be going down that line again. We are just in situation just now due to various factors.
1. 6 players plus Welsh all left
2. 8 players out injured
3. Season started earlier due to European ties.
We needed a keeper in quick so that explains Paulsen deal. Lowry one i can see being loan but with view to permanent move if he takes advantage of this opportunity for him.
Hopefully a couple more permanent signings and injured players back will mean 3 max on loan
Went on the BBC Sport website to get a match preview for tomorrow's European game to be welcomed with the headline news that Lawrence Shankland is to be the new Rangers Captain!!!!
Who needs football matches when you have this kind of breaking news gold dust coming out of Ibrox.
Cause he is better playing wide and running at players for me much more effective.
This is why we are needing to find someone in the middle that can stick the ball in the net or at least chip in with a few goals.
He will need to buck up his ideas if he stays with us. He was crap towards the last third of the season. I recon he had a one off season in a good team scoring all those goals, he may be fast but I dont think he is that consistently good for a big money signing. Any team scouts worth their salt should suss that out . Think they might have done that, hopefully not.
When you have little confidence in those at the top, made worse by incidents like those in our final game against Celtic, these changes seem to be of the "fiddling while Rome burns" variety.
I’ve said here before that loans should be the exception rather than the rule. The injuries might be forcing us down that road at the moment, but I do worry we’re starting to head down the Kettlewell route. Injuries aside, we’ve got the finances and the model to sign permanent players for the key roles we need. Loans should supplement that, not become the solution.
