I don't agree. I think Stuart Kettlewell has a lot to give and I'll be hugely sorry if we lose him4 points
-
Awk shut up. Heโs rotten. Youโre on here constantly complaining about other folks opinions. Give it a rest ๐๐ผ4 points
-
Go away. Hit the ignore button if my posts offend you. You've only piped up tonight to have a go at certain players.. and me for some reason. Which is about as odd as it gets. You're on ignore and you'll be staying there.3 points

We had won once in almost twenty league games and only scraped past Alloa in the last round before Tuesday night. That so many seemed to think that we had โturned a cornerโ after scudding a rank rotten Ross County side who had chucked it for their manager was baffling. Big, big wake up call for those folk this, or at least it should be.3 points

Very necessary in my view. How many goals has he cost us. Same last season against Raith Rovers. We need a competent keeper who can do the basics ie command your box and deal with crosses. Kelly can do neither.2 points
-
He's getting schooled by Dougie Imrie. Barraclough and Hammell went for lower league cup defeats. Kettlewell should be following them.2 points
-
Kelly wasn't to clever at the goal either. A soft shot along the ground and he can't get it. He needs dropped ASAP. Pressure back on Kettlewell as regards his position. It was obvious Kelly should have been dropped weeks ago. We take a good support through and we bottle it and are really shite.2 points

This is exactly the type of performance that you can't afford to have away from home in a cup tie,we have played right into there hands.ball retention has been woeful and the aimless punts up the park as the half went on is nonsense.2 points
-
Long ball to one man up against 4 defenders is just suicide. Get the ball down FFS2 points

By that logic, surely the 2 league wins in 20 would've given them the kick up the backside they need...1 point

SK Post match interview. "I never seen this coming, the performance, the result". Well every single fan did and that's why the cameras were there because the BBC did as well.1 point

It's a sore one but we have all been here before. As soon as things look like improving, a result and performance like tonight happens. We were sucked in to playing the game Morton wanted and very rarely moved away from that. A Morton team that included 2 ex 'Well players that, no harm to them, proved to be not good enough for us. I doubt if any of them are, even Oakley albeit he played well tonight. Obviously there are questions to be asked of some who are wearing claret and amber. We were poor but let's make sure we stay up and take at look at things at the end of the season.1 point
-
Kettlewell has to be replaced when contract ends no matter how the season ends. Every Well fan if asked could have said how an Imrie team would play. We sent out 15/16 players and not one of them looked as if they had been given any tactics except get the ball into their box by the shortest route. I hope someone on either MFC or WS boards is actively pursuing options. Sure Tuesday was an exception but I think RC and Adams was a huge influence there.1 point

See this could go 2 ways, Yes we could bring in someone new and improve or we could end up with a proper donkey who gets us relagated like Dundee United keeper did last season. Cant remember his name but he had like 8 shockers in the run up to the end of the season1 point

Had we won tonight and got the winner of the Livi game yes, Quite possibly1 point

Depends how you look at it. Personally I think the bigger picture is that we've won two league games in twenty and have now been knocked out of the Cup by a lower league side. I don't care about any other side or their managers, our form is dreadful.1 point
-
Took its toll on a team that would struggle in championship,no dont accept that, ffs how many shots on target did we have,we were well and truly shafted, they bullied us,outfought us and basically said fuck you, come ahead and see how tough we are.1 point
-
There is no doubt that tonightโs defeat is both a disappointment and a timely reminder that we are not that great a side. The only positive is that we can now concentrate solely on the key job of remaining in the premier league. Time to sack the manager? Derek Adams is available and only a phone call away.1 point

Thats shite patter, A total of 6 or 7 posts on the forum and your learning to be a fud quite quickly, have a look at yourself ffs.๐คฆโโ๏ธ1 point

I hardly think this team is worth shedding a tear for................they couldnt care less1 point

Last week SK said with lots of games coming weโd need to rotate team . he didnโt do that . After 20 mins we were being outfought . waited until too late before changing it . When changed it Vale & Halliday made sense but equally we needed to break them down , Nicholson was the obvious choice . God only knows what formation we ended up with . very poor man management and equally piss poor all over the pitch1 point

He's out of contract at the end of the season and should only be offered a new one on much reduced terms. If he doesn't like it show him the door1 point

Morton first to every ball. Quite a dirty team too. Devine should start next game and Kelly dropped.1 point
-
Kelly should have been dropped weeks ago. If he doesn't get dropped after tonight's performance Kettlewell should hang his head in shame.1 point
-
Only sliver of hope was Adam Devine Terrible in every area of the pitch. Players didn't even have a touch most of the time. No intensity either. No physical or mental toughness. Why we insisted on playing long balls against a team that won every physical contest I'm not sure.1 point

Who cares? Theyโre in it, weโre not. Two years on the trot being knocked out by Championship sides at this stage of the Scottish Cup. Itโs just not good enough.1 point

Canโt be much defence for the manager after thisโฆ.. cup runs against lower league opponents are a must win for usโฆ.. Needs changed in the summer regardless of what league weโre in1 point

Getting outfoxed by Imrie should be Kettlewellโs final humiliation. Get him to fuck.1 point

5 substitutes. Tombola football. Kettlewell just clueless. Morton have cruised through the game. Our next three games are Aberdeen and Hearts away and Celtic at home. Our only hope is County continue to be shite and we can finish 10th.1 point

If the team was freshened up and we were beat,no doubt calls as to why we change a winning team,Kettlewell should know if players are fit and ready to go,we've just not turned up yet, here's to a better second half.1 point
-
Kelly blooper, defending set pieces has been awful all season, attacking set pieces no much better, big big effort needed second half, need to get ball into feet, more support from midfield, would get Nicholson on after 15 mins second half give us more drive.1 point
-
This is so Motherwell. Sublime to shite. Morton deserve to be in front. As I said to my pal before the goal, Imrie should instruct his players to put the ball into Kelly every single time. He's a weak link.1 point
-
ill prepared under Kettlewell, don't think so. Wind playing its part, don't think Miller in for Halliday that a lot were happy at is working, Alan Power to strong in the middle. But yet for another Kelly howler, we're in 0-0 with the wind at our back.1 point
-
Let's be honest it was a pub team we beat midweek. 45 minutes and we haven't had a shot on target.1 point
-
Need to get to half-time at no more than 1 and rally in the 2nd half. First half performance has been poor. No energy. Losing battles all over the pitch.1 point
-
Glad to see Miller back, but I think i'd have been a wee bit hesitant starting him against a bunch of hammer throwers.1 point
-
Think we all know who they are. It'll be a typical cup tie against lower league opposition who will be hyped up to the max by wee Imrie. All down to our attitude on the night and getting out the starting blocks early. An early goal would be nice.1 point
