If you can show them the wrecked one, and it's recognisable as a current season ticket, I can't see why they'd have any objection to swapping it for a new one. (You might have to put up with it having a different seat number on it for the rest of the season, right enough.)

Ironically, we'd probably have more chance of filling it if we charged a quid-- perceived value is an odd beast. (Case in point: The company I work for used to give one of its software products away for free, but a lot of other companies didn't want to use it until we started charging for it...)

Can kind of see where he's coming from, one or two folk on here after the Cup exit saying they wouldn't be back this season because there was nothing left to play for. I bet they'd be back if we had to win a couple of our last few games to avoid relegation.
