    Top 6?

Not too fussed about the top 6 finish this year as no doubt we would end up with another 2 away games against the ugly sisters and unless we win the Scottish cup no chance of Europe. So a nice comfy bottom 6 finish in no danger of relegation or playoffs would do me. Plus we might get Accies at Fir park last game to pump them and send them down.
  2. As much as ii hope Moult settles and starts scoring, it's a step up for him and I just have this feeling that he might not be up to it, I can see him ending up as a fringe player and not getting a run in the team.
  3. I would say at least 2 or 3 wins to ensure safety the magic number always seems to be at least 40 points going on previous seasons, I don't think any team has gone down with that total.
  4. I see Bowman, Hendrie and Sid all started for the u20's today , beaten 2-1 by Ross county so not a good result.
  5. Why not merge both of them into liquidation then Scottish football can progress and the other 40 teams can enjoy it
  6. league position suggest otherwise. Better manager as well
  7. I wish it had been a penalty, it would have been the only bright spot in 45 mins of utter shite from both teams.
  8. Another tough draw but very winnable at-home Hearts are average at best. But the top 3 ranked teams drawn at home to the 3 lowest ranked teams in the draw, FFS no wonder the conspiracy theories are rife. It will be Celtic v Motherwell and Rangers v Aberdeen in the semi finals
  9. Great win today and another clean sheet as a bonus, now all we need is a home match against Falkirk, Morton or Kilmarnock in the quarters.
  10. Will always be a Motherwell legend after that last minute goal at Easter rd to get us to the 2005 league cup final.
  11. It seems that we are joint top of the league with Hearts when it comes to being the dirtiest teams in the league. "Hearts have been revealed as the dirtiest team in the Scottish Premiership alongside Motherwell, according to data from WyScout and Transfermarkt, only days after manager Craig Levein said players needed protection from Celtic captain Scott Brown. (Daily Record) So is it justified, are we a team of thugs or just being physical, given the standard of refereeing a lot of perfectly normal tackles seem to be penalised, especially against the blue and green ugly sisters as they always get more publicity.
  12. Only if you were a St Johnstone fan Motherwell were the better team the whole game and to be honest never in any danger. If we had passed the ball on the deck instead of trying to go long 1st half then it would have finished 3 or 4 nil.
  13. Only 1 choice tonight Alan Campbell he was outstanding, special mention for Kipre again the big man strolled it
  14. Watch the highlights when the free kick is taken ciftci starts from an offside position so when he heads the ball back he is flagged offside, the linesman got it correct.
  15. I am old enough to have seen all 4 of them play, but it's very difficult to make a like for like comparison as the environment and rules etc that wark played under are totally different from what Boyd, McKinnon and Hammell experienced. So I don't think its valid comparing Wark with Hamell or the other two either ,they were all good in their time.
  16. Oh bless the precious stars they are allegedly professional athletes FFS getting a very good wage for playing football so 2 or 3 games a week should no be beyond them.
  17. Not sure what that clip is meant to convey but feel free to enlighten me.
  18. Why what happened were the team asked to have an extra training session or maybe play more than 90 mins a week, it's time they manned up and got on with it.
  19. Never agreed with this resting players pish it should be strongest team possible at all times, asking a well paid footballer to play 2 or 3 games a week is not too much to ask.
  20. Behave there is a reason he is playing for a non league side, i.e he is not very good as we eventually found out, some people have short memories, he is hopeless.
  21. Easy choice this week big Cedric strolled it, another great performance
  22. Agree with that, far too slow moving the ball on, caught in possession far too often, and his distribution was woeful, not a good day at the office for him. In his defence the rest of the midfield was equally as bad so he was not alone.
