  1. The u20's are currently 2-0 against Kilmarnock, 2
  2. I see McLeish has brought in Faddy to join the Scotland coaching staff, so an ex manager and 2 former players on the coaching team. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43366361
  3. We are a bigger club than Hamilton, much better stadium, a better pitch, better fans, and have always been a better team so yes we should be beating them every time we play them.
  4. Wring your pants out, FFS we are 14 in front of RC at the bottom and 10 clear of Thistle in the playoff spot, so are either of them going to win their next 4 or 5 games and we get nothing, no. We are 4 behind Hearts in 6th with 4 to play to the split so that place is up for grabs. Even if we do finish bottom 6 we are never going down, For me RC are relegated and I reckon Dundee are in the playoffs
  5. I think he will stay down south but not at Championship level, he is not even in the PNE squad today, but he may be injured. He will end up being sent out on loan , he was fantastic for us but the English championship is a step up for him and I have a suspicion he is not up to it .
  6. Hardly surprising NDP is a shite hole, a crappy plastic pitch, no support, all told a horrible club that brings nothing to the premiership, sooner they are back in the championship the better..
  7. The Bay Horse is probably your best bet, or the Accies vaults at peacock cross if you want to noise up the locals
  8. I see the BBC gossip page is reporting that Stevie Woods is being lined up as the new Scotland goal keeping coach http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43313641 Apologies never noticed the Stevie Woods topic before I posted
  9. The issue I have with Dallas is that we have all seen the slow motion enhanced footage from every angle for Cadden " no goal" and granted it does show the decision to disallow it was technically correct. But could he have been 100% certain of that real time and with a few players etc between him and the ball, I don't see how he could. That incident was a classic example of why we need var technology in place to help refs. And as you say Adoa should have had a straight red at the end, Gohdino and Lafferty got away with murder, Curtis main should have been booked for throwing Cochrane off the park, so all things considered he is pretty much on a par with the other refs, i.e incompetent fuds
  10. Add to that Godinho got away with 2 or 3 bookable tackles and Adao was booked but should have been red carded in injury time and it adds up to Dallas making a James Hunt of it, and with the disallowed goal, it was a usual Scottish refereeing incompetent performance. Ok with the benefit of video replays and freeze frames etc it was aguably the right decision, but did Dallas know that real time, I think not,.
  11. He is doing just fine if you ask me, a cup final already and another semi final to look forward to, most people would have taken that in August as a successful season. Think back to the shite we had to put up with under Barraclough and mcGhee and then judge how well Robinson has done.
  12. Went for McHugh great performance and a stunning finish for the winner, special mention for Carson, his save from Lafferty kept us in it when Hearts were on top.
  13. Scotland has 1 CL place and 3 EL places, the cup runners up rule was binned a few years ago, so irrespective of who is in the final they only way we will get Europe is by winning the cup or finishing at least 4th.
  14. Well said, even allowing for people working etc the home turn out was very poor, the Hearts fans turned up in numbers but ours did not which is disappointing
  15. The earlier kick off and the game live on TV were factors but agreed the home support was poor,
  16. Agreed very controversial Just seen the replay, looked to be nothing wrong with it, another shocking refereeing decision
  17. Was Nightshift last night so not at game just turned TV on and missed the disallowed goal what was it not given for.

    Top 6?

If you are comfortable in 5th, 6th or 7th place one of which we will likely end up in , with no chance of the title or Europe ( not counting cup wins) and nowhere near the playoffs or relegation, then does it really matter if you are top or bottom 6? Mid table mediocrity will do me this season, oh and another trip to Hampden for the Scottish cup final as a bonus
  19. It's a pity the game is off it would have been nice to go into the Hearts cup game only 1 behind them in the league as I think Aberdeen were there for the taking tonight. Still we have nothing to fear for Saturday any team managed by Levein are average at best.
  20. If the undersoil heating is on and the pitch is covered then it will be fine, the problem might be the local roads etc the police might seem it unsafe so game might be in doubt. I assume there will be an early pitch inspection.

    Top 6?

Not too fussed about the top 6 finish this year as no doubt we would end up with another 2 away games against the ugly sisters and unless we win the Scottish cup no chance of Europe. So a nice comfy bottom 6 finish in no danger of relegation or playoffs would do me. Plus we might get Accies at Fir park last game to pump them and send them down.
  22. As much as ii hope Moult settles and starts scoring, it's a step up for him and I just have this feeling that he might not be up to it, I can see him ending up as a fringe player and not getting a run in the team.
  23. I would say at least 2 or 3 wins to ensure safety the magic number always seems to be at least 40 points going on previous seasons, I don't think any team has gone down with that total.
