All seated,, close to the pitch (grass only), fully enclosed ( Like Almondvale), good facilities, car parking close by, proper WiFi coverage in the stadium, that would be my wish list for a new stadium, oh and a successful team to play in it.
£2 million is loose change down the sofa for a club like QPR to sign a squad player like Dykes, but if we manage to get at least that as a minimum for Turnbull it will be a very good bit of business.
The club is in a good position ie we don't really need to sell unless its an offer we can't refuse so if its not we tell Celtic to jog on and we get to see his talents for the full season.
Not in this life Uefa don't run football at the European level anymore, the TV companies do, they dictate the format. And the elite clubs who benefit most from TV are in full agreement and nobody give a damm about the smaller clubs.
Ok then enlighten us then why you think an attacking player standing half a yard offside right in front of the keeper who makes a deliberate attempt to play the ball when it comes in, should not be flagged offside.
Which rules are we not interpreting correctly?
From your previous post
clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent
He flicks his leg out to try to play the ball from an offside position, no VAR required for this one he was offside.
Just watched the highlights Seedorf flicks his leg out at the ball as the shot comes in, so he made an attempt to play the ball, from an offside position decision was 100% correct.
Same for me, 1st ppv match last night and the stream and commentary were OK, even managed to get my phone talking to the TV so I could watch it on the big screen, all in not bad value for £12.
Behave no they weren't the were just as pish as us, Carson had one save to make all game and gifted them tbe equaliser, it was 94 mins of utter feckin dross from both teams.
Agreed , We will pump either one of them to be honest, Glentoran, 5th place finish in the league last year and ranked 421 out of 423 team in uefa and Torshavn, 3rd best in the Faroe Islands ffs, we have already beaten them 7-1 on aggregate in 1994 and its a fair bet they have not improved since then.
This is a good starter for us, home tie against probably the lowest ranked teams we could have got, whats not to like
We have been shocked by welsh and Icelandic teams before but let's be honest we have better players than all of those sides and if we turn up with the right attitude we will be too strong for all of them. So now I have jinxed it feel free to copy and remind me of this post if we are out of Europe by 28/8
Hopefully we get a decent run, but it might only be 1 or 2 games and then we get pumped by some of the big names. But the main thing is we are in the tournament and for 10 of the 12 clubs who start each season in the premiership, A cup win or European qualifying is the dream.
Over the years we have a decent record for euro qualifying which for a club of our size is a great achievement so its good to be able to look forward to another Euro campaign this year, as I said it might not last too long, but we can live the dream and aim for the group stages.
I have not seen any streamed games yet but after whats been said on here I get the impression the whole thing is set up on the cheap and probably not with high end kit or technical expertise.
That said just because its a budget set up does not mean it should not be fit for purpose pictures with sound are fairly fundamental, so they should at least get that right
Bit it did finish and we were 3rd and qualified for Europe so whats your point, last season is history, oh and its nice too see you back trolling after a couple of bad results.
If we hit the ground running and get back to the pre Christmas levels of performance last season we should win, tbh Ross county are not that good. 2-0 to the good guys.
