  1. For me if Carroll is fit enough for the bench he should be starting, that will get him game time
  2. Oxford United was mentioned in the article as well, they seem to be keen to have him back, a bidding war with Hibs then.
  3. Some chat online suggesting that Hibs are allegedly considering a move for Chris Cadden in January,, if they can persuade Columbus crew to sell him.
  4. You not fed up fishing with the same bait and catching nothing, the Rangers game and now this one
  5. Would have thought if Carroll was fit enough to be in the squad he should start, even getting 45 only, and I would have Hastie playing before Crawford.
  6. Suspending the points awards for us and Hamilton only highlights what an absolute shambles the SPFL and SFA are currently the whole system of how football in Scotland is administered is not fit for purpose. St Mirren and Killie blatantly broke the rules and as a result were unable to fulfill their fixtures, so its a no brainer. Feck knows what grounds they are appealing on, but the SPFL are just making Scottish football a laughing stock, it's a disgrace . Can you imagine the national uproar if either of the ugly sisters had been awarded the points and then have them taken away, Doncaster and his whole team should be told to clear their desks and GTF.
  7. A win would be great, to end the year in 5th place and hopefully further away from the relegation places so I am going to go for 2-0 to the good guys and extend our unbeaten run to 2
  8. Any game we do not lose is a good result for me, guess I'm just a happy clapping, glass half full type, life's too short to be negative all the time
  9. So no defeat as predicted by many, a point gained on most of the teams below us, a clean sheet for a change, not a bad night then, onwards and upwards.
  10. Sadly that's the way Scottish football is these days, think its been over 34 years since a team outwith the ugly sisters won the league. Celtic have been the best for the last 9 years especially the last 4, now its Rangers turn, the most the rest of us can hope for is 3rd place, Europe or a cup win.
  11. Good content searching, but What has me having a senior moment got to do with your sad petty attitude, I like to see any player who played for us to do well especially a home grown and developed one like DT no matter who he is playing with. As for your opinions hoping he would not win his first major medal implies "I hope celtic get beat and I will be happy" attitude worthy of the blue ugly hordes themselves, so have a look at yourself .
  12. Typical soon as I hit submit, Hearts scored
  13. What a sad attitude to have, anyway its not going to happen Celtic 2 up and never been out of 1st gear, Hearts are outclassed big time.
  14. Turnbull starting for Celtic in the cup final today.
  15. Spot on Dave, we have watched for a few years now our inability to see games out and hold on to a winning position, by defending too deep. What worries me is that successive managers ie Barraclough and now SR have failed to either realise our midfield is not up to it or if they have do something about it to strengthen the team.
  16. 2 cup finals, a 3rd place finish European qualification , millions made in selling on players who cost us nothing , for me recruitment has been a lot better than we think.
  17. I see the Scottish Government has announced the amount of financial support to Scottish clubs to help out during the covid pandemic. It seems each premiership club will get loans of £2 million each, while all the other championship, league 1, league 2 and lowland / Highland league teams get varying amou to of Grants. While the cash will no doubt be welcomed by the board its seem unfair that the top clubs are saddled with a new £2 million debt while others get non payback grants
  18. That was not the blatant penalty Mark Reynolds handled the ball on the line before Reid scored.
  19. My thoughts as well, but I suppose it's nothing more than we have been used to for the last 18 years or so. Still hoping that one day we will turn up against that mob with the right attitude and get a result, but nothing to suggest that it will be Saturday
  20. He's been injured since the end of last season, think he ruptured the Cruciate ligament in his knee, so it's long term
  21. Will always be rembered as the manager who took an average looking squad of players and got Motherwell into the champions league. Although that "average squad" was a lot better than what we have now.
  22. They are no better than they were and are still decent players but playing at a lower level, so they are bound to do well.
