  1. A great team performance today but there were 2 stand outs for me Tanner and Campbell both never stopped great tackles and ran the show in midfield. Difficult choice but went for Tanner as he scored the penalty.
  2. Agreed and both at important points in the game, but apart from those two he had nothing else to do, Accies were utter crap
  3. He came on about 70 mins no idea how he played though.
  4. No so there will be no trolling tonight, jog on nothing to see here
  5. They are a feckin horrible team to watch going down at every contact, always in the refs face, and trying to break the game up at every opportunity, and more than their fair share of obnoxious wee fuds like Imrie and McKinnon.
  6. Slipping down the league's maybe he is finding his level.
  7. The stats you get orgasmic about are meaningless pish, who cares if Docherty had 3 goals and 6 assists in 1,867 mins of football FFS get a life. That could be a blinding 1st 45 mins then another 1,822 mins of his usual dross.
  8. 5 posts in and already talking utter pish you have a bright future stick at it and steelboy will have a challenger for the forum troll title, impressive stuff
  9. So lots of criticism and negativity when we are on a bad run and stoney silence during the good times, and you don't get of on it...ok then whatever.
  10. You really need to get out more, who really gives a feck about stats like that.
  11. Not believing that percentage figure I will wait for ya bezzer to post a full page breakdown listing all the stats and info on possible responses from forum members then we will get the real numbers.
  12. Why would we enquire about him ? he is 20 years old and since he left for Brighton he has only made a couple of appearances for their U 23 team in the 18 months since he left, no goals either. He may turn out to be a good player but there is not much evidence to support that, would he get into our current 1st team, no chance, so why would we want him back ?
  13. I hope we can do better than him, he has contributed feck all at nearly every club he has been at, so i hope the club stays well away from him. Let saint Brendan worry about getting rid of him.
  14. Why would he go down in your estimations, so he's been a Rangers fan all his days, nothing wrong with that, and while he would probably rather still be at Brighton playing in the premiership he will no doubt be proud to run out at Ibrox. He is a good player and I hope he does well unless of course he is up against us.
  15. Not sure if that was the PNE 1st choice team at Wycombe today, but if Moult was fit I reckon he would have played
  16. How much do you get for a ginger bottle these days ? they might need a lot according to BBC gossip page it's £1 million up front plus at least the same again in add ons will be surprised if they have the cash.
  17. Good post Dave, if we are determined to make the fan ownership model work then the club needs to get itself on a stable footing, IE clearing it's debts to Les Hutchinson, John Boyle etc. This means bringing in a much cash as we can, traditional revenue streams IE advertising, TV money, merchandise etc tend to be pretty much the same each year, so we need to be creative and that means transfer cash. Only this season the club made in excess of £1.2 million with the Johnson and Heneghan deals, plus another £500k for moult, so £1.7 million, in total a few of those deals each year and we will be debt free in no time. Then the club can start to build and develop the homegrown talent, we will still need to buy players, every club has to but a few more players like Cadden, Campbell, stepping up and becoming 1st team regulars will serve us well.
  18. So what exactly should Motherwell football club be, in your perfect world we would develop our own players from a young age, they would all make the grade and we would be playing silky soccer at all times and doing well, the crowds would be fantastic lots of revenue streams so we would not need the transfer cash. Meanwhile back in the real world, very few of the young players we have will make the step up, crowds are down therefore revenue is down so we need to wheel and deal in the transfer market to generate some much needed income that will be used to buy players to make up for the lack of homegrown talent. This is Motherwell in 2018, this is how we operate, and so far this season we had a great start and a trio to a major cup final so we are not doing too bad, granted we are on a feckin poor run currently but that will end and we will push on for a top 6 finish.
  19. It might well be but it's true, don't know why Robinson bothers with trying to build a team he should save him self the trouble and just come on the forum and let the keyboard managers do it for him.
  20. They are nowhere near the team because the people with experience running the team IE the coaching team/ manager obviously think they are not ready to step up, if and when they are they will get a chance,
  21. Why is everybody over analysing what Hartley did on Saturday, yes it was a bit daft and he got red carded but he was only doing what every single well fan at the game as well as thousands of others at other clubs up and down the country have wanted to do. IE give that obnoxious wee prick Imrie a good kicking. Needs to be done more often if you ask me
  22. A few rumours going about on Saturday that Leeds are allegedly thinking about a bid for Kipre, figure quoted was 800k, if true I don't think the club would think too long about closing the deal.
  23. How will we know when he arrives, nobody apart from McGhee ever saw him.
  24. Think its Dievyidas Matulevicius some chat on BBC a few weeks ago that he did not appear to be in Lennon's plans, so might be some truth in it.
