  1. Wright is getting linked with the Dundee untd job, but so is every other out of work manager Including Jens Lehman
  2. Well there are no steelworks any more, the craig is gone, and does the Fir tree forest depicted still exist, apart from those 2 the football and the colour scheme are ok
  3. He's not a Motherwell player anymore so no further discussion required, other than the occasional mention in the former players thread.
  4. Totally agree, get your agent to start a bidding war, max out the offers on the table and pick the best one to meet your expectations, absolutely nothing wrong with that, fair play to him.
  5. Too many ex well players going to paisley, Same principles apply though he will go for the best deal on offer, plus Taits probably told him what a great club it is
  6. So we allegedly offered Tait a 3 year deal, so is that idle speculation or were you in the office when the offer was put to him? All this we offred him this or that chat from fans like us is bullshit as we don't know, as is I heard it from a good source at the club pish, so the truth is we don't know end of. But as footballers are like the rest of us when looking for a job, we tend to take the best deal that suits what we are looking for. So as he opted to say no thanks to Motherwell and move to St Mirren I am believing he took the best deal on offer, ie better than Motherwell's
  7. No insanity they probably offered more money and a longer deal, so its a no brainer, simples
  8. I miss Bowman, good honest pro, who was not shy to put himself about, gave us a bit of fight up top.
  9. As has been mentioned on many occasions maybe There is nobody from the current youth squad good enough or able to step up to the 1st team, hence the need to bring players in.
  10. He' s not a prophet, he just reads the bbc gossip page, we are keen to sign Lang from Wigan apparently . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scottish/gossip
  11. Could not be bothered reading the rest of the thread, saw you had mentioned Rooney and assumed rumours had been started
  12. Salford are league 2, but there's no way we can match the money he is allegedly on with them, unless he has been released and up for a big wage cut.
  13. Nah, He's had enough with court cases in Edinburgh this year
  14. Another one for weeyins list of players to come back and haunt us

    Season Tickets

Why is it wrong, if you paid for 12 months car insurance, sky TV etc and only got 11 months would you not bother asking for your money back for the missed time? Season tickets are no different, you pay up front for 19 games, so you should get 19 any less and you are due a refund, simples
  16. Yes a long term deal from Paddy Power would be ideal, for logo free shirts, i hope we are negotiating with them.
  17. We live in hope that one day clubs will offer kit not ruined by sponsors advertising as an option, i suspect more people would buy it.
  18. Nice article on the BBC Web page https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52775499
  19. If we can get long to stay as well that would be great business
  20. I have never been to either of the ugly sisters grounds for a very long time, and that night was no exception, tbh I feared the worst given our record against Rangers, but at work surrounded by them and giving them pelters when the scores came in was very satisfying. We really slapped them down over those 2 games and reminded them how bad they really were at that point.
  21. A good honest interview with Skippy about helicopter Sunday 15 years on. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32838481
  22. Just watched it excellent program not just about the cup run but shown in the context of the closure of the Craig. Good input from Kirk, Arnott, Ferguson, Griffin, Nijholt, M,Cart, Colin O'Neil and Alan Burrows, oh and Mr Celtic, Tom Boyd. Its well worth a watch.
  23. Program on BBC Alba now about the 91 Cup win "Steelmen" 9pm
  24. Still my all-time favourite well goal, the juke for 6-6, as they said at the time wow oh wow, ......Lucas Jutkiewicz
  25. The BBC gossip page this morning has Tommy Wright as the favourite to replace O'Neil for the NI job https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52393850
