Absolutely gutted I had to work today so never made the game but after watching the game back I have to say that after the 2nd goal went in the result was never in doubt. Yes Aberdeen were brutal, but we're superb today always in their faces, chasing every ball and Mains finish for the 3rd was excellent. I was at the LC semi but due to work I won't make this one if it had a sensible KO time ie 2:30 or 3pm I would have made it. But ticket prices, stupid KO time , and live on council TV were bound to impact on ticket sales. The big game player as you put it is rapidly running out of chances to prove himself worthy of the accolade, since he left Dundee united he has been brutal. I have no doubt the talent is there but whatever is going on with him it's not showing, anytime I see him he looks unfit and uninterested. He will never be back at Celtic and based on what we have seen of him at Fir Park I would punt him in the summer as the money could be better spent elsewhere.

Yes Preston's dip in form may be a factor but I think that the main problem is that Moult is not up to the challenge, it was a big step up and so far he has not shown any evidence he is up to it. Just watched the match back when I got in from game, 3 pen decisions to make today and as usual the ref made a James Hunt of two of them, ours was a stonewaller irrespective of what that tosser Chris Sutton says, the Rangers one was a shocker, Frear wins the ball and the Rangers player just falls over him, never a pen. As for Main near the end, Alves was all over him, shirt was nearly pulled off his back, with the ref right in front of them, that should have been a pen. So once again piss poor refereeing has cost us.

How do we know their are no better refs, get rid of some of the incompetent fuds like Thompson, collum and Dallas and promote some of the grade 2 refs to grade 1 and see how they perform. But we all know the SFA will do feck all as usual and we will all have to suffer the incompetence. I think he will stay down south but not at Championship level, he is not even in the PNE squad today, but he may be injured. He will end up being sent out on loan , he was fantastic for us but the English championship is a step up for him and I have a suspicion he is not up to it .
