That's the fundamental problem Dave, this is not some local camera club they are running / hoping to run it a top flight football club generating significant amounts of revenue, large numbers of members etc etc. We need experienced full time people in place to administer it on a professional basis, I have no doubt that there will be opportunities for the ordinary fans to help out in some form, but the core functions of the WS, i.e recruitment, managing the membership, communication, setting strategies etc need to be done professionally by people able to devote their full time to the job, if that means hiring people then that's what needs to happen, only then does it have a chance to grow and succeed.

Not a member and have no immediate plans to become one but that post pretty much sums up my thoughts as well. The concept of fan ownership was great to start with and still is but the WS so far has become a badly organised and managed shambles, no effective communication with current or potential members, no clear direction, amateurish at best administration. The whole thing needs relaunched on a more professional basis with people in charge that actually know what they are doing only then do they have a chance of keeping existing members onboard or attracting new ones.

This topic should probably be moved to general football but here is my view. I long for the day when Scottish football is rid of the blue and green bigot brothers for good we dont need either of them the other 40 clubs will find their own level and the game and country will be the better for it. For far too long the SFA, SPFL, media etc have pandered to both of them and every other club has suffered, i hope there is a Euro league, or whatever it is called set up and both of them get invited to join Scottish football will be the better for it. ok rant over

As the organising body of the club owners ie the fans would that not be a sensible plan to consider, i.e maximise the revenue potential for Fir Park etc. Or do you think that is beyond them

Installing a decent wifi set up throughout the whole ground is a must these days it will cost a few quid but people/businesses looking to hire the facilities expect it as standard. However the lack of it is another example of the amateurish way that the WS goes about its business.

He would be a better option in midfield than Lasley so he might be worth a punt i doubt we could afford him, but lets be honest he is not going to get a new deal on the stupid money he was on at Ibrox so he might fancy the wage cut.

Did you watch the game yesterday Leahy had the pish ripped out of him by McGenniss all game, i will keep Hammell for now thanks. Falkirk were rank rotten yesterday and from what i saw there was nobody in the team that would bring any benefit to Motherwell assuming they were available etc. It says a lot about the standard in the championship when McHugh is getting regular starts and scoring, we need to be looking further to try identify some hidden gems like Moult or Johnson.

Lasley is done i would not even be offering him another year,we need to replace him and build for the future.As for Hammel if he stays fit he may have another season possibly 2 in him so it would make sense to offer him another deal

Do you really believe that guff even if Scottish clubs had millions to spend the quality players wont come anywhere near the Scottish premiership, if they have options elsewhere. Rodgers will soon wake up and realse that he wont have the millions he had at Swansea or Liverpool and will have to recruit on a budget like the rest of the league.

If we had been playing Hibs or QOS in the playoffs last season would there have been an 8 or 9 month investigation and the threat of further punishment for the fans on the park no i think not...It was all down to the SFA pandering to Rangers and now that they are back to the premiership it will be back to the usual shit, with the SFA only giving a feck about the blue and green ugly sisters. Lets be honest Hampden is a shithole of a stadium no good for watching games from anywhere other than the sides, steeped in the sectarian old firm bile, SFA reluctant to redevelop or move in case it upsets a diddy team like Queens Park. We need a new national stadium we can be proud of suitable for the 21st century good transport links, Good football viewing stadium etc etc but its the SFA so given they are a bunch of fuckwits i wont be holding my breath.
