Nah Harsh but fair, OK he scored a few goals at Celtic, but it was obvious he was a fringe player at best and never held down a regular starting place. As for the Cardiff move, he knew his time at Celtic was up but I get the impression that he was not overwhelmed with offers from any bigger or better clubs so a struggling Championship club might have been his only realistic option. Time will tell but for me he's a good above average player but not a great one, his next transfer move will define the direction his career is heading, so let's hope its a good one.

Maybe they all thought he's just not as good as we think he is, apart from earning loads of Cash his career since he left us has been distinctly underwhelming.

Kelly was never good enough to attract a transfer bid from a bigger club during his time with us so we were never making any cash from moving him on,he was always going to end up a free agent. With no interest from the ugly sisters etc he would probably have resigned the new contract we offered, but the chance to sign for Rangers for more cash and an easier gig as back up is a no brainer for him, I wish him well if it happens.

The only way i can see an investor potentially making money from a club like Motherwell is by having full control over all its assets etc. Yes they may see the cash they put in as a tax incentive, good advertising etc but multi millionaires don't give away cash with no prospect of a return. And as some of the current board have made it clear they want out, I can see us having new owners whether or not they have full control all depends on how the WS fits into the plans.

Assuming that an actual firm offer has been made, as its all went very quiet over the last 6 weeks or so.

All depends what age you are, what player you pick, absolutely no point in comparing a modern player with someone from say the 50's or 60's as the game they played is vastly different from what we see today on so many levels.

On the topic of Scottish cup wins it was 33 years ago today we were heading into Hampden more in hope than expectation to play Dundee untd. To see us lift the cup that day was right up there as 1 of my proudest moments as a well fan, what a weekend that was.

He scored for West Brom tonight in s 3-1 defeat by Southampton in the championship playoff semi final.

We all know where the issues are, for me keeper who commands his area, 2 centre half's, and a holding midfielder, would be the priority as a minimum. And bring greedy a decent goalscorer to play up front with the Bair, it's not much to ask really.

Biereth moving to Strum Graz, how is that Kettlewells fault ffs, he has developed Bair, and to some extent Spittal their goals have kept us up this year, brought in Vale and Gent who have been great so SK has done very well. Other players like Souare, Obilye, Wilkinson etc were no doubt short term low cost, low risk punts to the club so he can't be blamed for those not working out.

If the individual concerned was not convicted of any of these allegations then statements like that can get you in a lot of trouble, and they have no place being discussed on a football forum of any club.
