Scott Brown, Robbie Neilson Fleetwood Mac and Derek Adams ffs, we really need a genuine potential candidate to discuss before this thread gets any worse.
-
Oooooh the point totally missed but hey ho sarcastic attempts at humour are obviously not for everyone, including me as well it seems🤦♂️
-
Did you do a thorough check back to his primary school days, he's bound to have had more than one minor injury.
-
Watching Scotland play, that's the assignment the club scouts don't want.
-
Well every time we need a manager, Valakari, and Van der Gaag, get mentioned so why not Martinez if hes available.
-
There's talk of him being sacked even though Portugal won last night.
-
It's irrelevant who we get, one from the usual failed managers list who will get pelters on here 30 secs after it's announced or an unknown random who will get the same because they don't know the Scottish game etc etc. Its the steelmen online way .
-
Totally agree with that, he needs to go now.
-
I see big Ange postecoglu has been punted by Spurs, maybe he fancies a return to Scotland, he knows the league well 😃
-
The ugly sisters have been the graveyard for developing home grown Scottish players over the years, how many have been labelled as the "next big player with a great future in the game". 2 or 3 years down the line their contracts are up and they dissappear off the face of the Earth having achieved nothing other than a healthy bank balance for a couple of years.

The media must be getting desperate for a clue as to our next manager Where are Motherwell in manager hunt? And is Neilson a contender? - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/crmkpwzypnlo Nielson, Docherty, Brown and Ketsbaia was the best they could come up with 🤦♂️

Nobody is getting uptight we are discussing a valid topic that has annoyed people for years. It should be an individual choice whether you want to be an unpaid advertiser for some random company or product. As has been mentioned in previous posts possibly charging a premium for the logo free shirts might be an option, then its an individuals choice to buy it or not. I'm sure the club could sell logo free kit directly outwith any shirt sponsohip deals, we've done it before with the white tops a few seasons ago, nothing is impossible.
-
We are a fan owned club allegedly its maybe time that the WS got involved in a real topic of interest to the supporters and see what can be done re selling sponsor free replica kit.
-
This thread is going downhill fast, the sooner we get a real contender to discuss the better.
-
Prefers a 3-4-3 formation apparently https://totalfootballanalysis.com/head-coach-analysis/thomas-worle-ulm-202425-tactical-analysis-tactics

Did Jurgen Klopp ever get a new club? 😂
-
If you rush things you end up with the likes of Presley, Kettlewell, Naismith, Docherty etc, good to see we are taking our time as this appointment is massive. We need stability for a few season to allow whoever comes in to build a team. Another out of the blue appointment like Wimmer would be ideal, fresh outlook and ideas etc as opposed to the usual process of recycling failed managers we are used to.
-
Totally agree, I've never understood why we need to change the strip every season or two, its unecessary nonsense. Why can't we just find a design, in the club colours and keep it as do Celtic, Newcastle, etc who had had the same basic design forever. For me if I had a choice between the hoop or the stripes, I'd pick stripes as per the shirt we wore in the mid 1920's that was a cracker.
-
I'm long past the buying replica kit stage, but it looks like a decent top ruined by my pet hate, tacky sponsors logos. But no doubt it will sell well to those fans who like to be up to date.
-
Not really but hey ho it got you a laugh. And as weeyin says if Miller is as highly rated as we are led to believe why would a top club not be interested in him as a future prospect.
-
Is that based on anything other than pure speculation, that would be a great move for him.
-
Linfield are the big team in a bang average league so they are going to win more than most, so healys stats will look good, a bit like Rodgers at Celtic. For me he cant be thought of as that good a manager as he's been there for a long time , he must have applied for a few jobs but never got any. If he goes to Dundee that will be a big step up, so time will tell how that pans out. I hope we use the same approach that identified Wimmer and bring in someone fresh to the Scottish game.
-
That won't be on the kids replica kit then.
-
We did give them a big scare in Dortmund, to this day I still can't believe how Tommy Coyne never scored when he was clean through 1 on 1 with Stefan Klos, that was our moment.
-
From memory i think UEFA reduced it from a 6 match ban to 3 matches, but as he never played in Europe again it was irrelevant anyway.
