Polworth for me, he looks to be improving game on game.
-
Big step up, I think the fact not one of the better clubs in the top flight was interested in him tells it’s own story.
-
Gallagher has made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes, and i’m pretty sure a few will make sure he knows it. Personally I think he’s an outstanding signing given our budget, for me the best of the summer signings by some way.
-
I’ve given negative and positives, you have said nothing positive and completely ignored the fact we were the better team for most of the first half against the best team in the league. Sorry I don’t exactly need any tips from you when you have already written off players after two league games, just the same way you did with Gorrin to name just one player last season. Show a bit of patience and give the team time to gel, we will be fine, you don’t need to go into this panic mode every season.
-
We were outclassed all over the park from 30 minutes onwards, not before that where our midfield was the better of the two. I honestly think your level of negativity means you are not actually able to see anything positive. We had a very good 30 minutes and you appear to have been in the men’s toilet the whole time. I’m at the point of wondering if you are even attending games ?
-
First 30 minutes we were the better team then Celtic started getting more and more on top, the game was as good as over when the second went in. I thought we were far to open and really you can’t do that with the quality of players that Celtic have. Second half we were just totally outclassed. Midfield shows promise for me, Polworth was excellent first 30 minutes or so and Donnelly not far behind against a midfield that’s better than anyone else in the league. Our two flying wingers were never in the game and we still desperately need a quality centre forward. I think we will be just fine again this season and Fridays game will give a better indication of where we are, time to start making better judgements then after two games on a none football pitch and a team on a different level to us squad wise.

We did not need to renew ours
-
Take a look at home many teams “ pumped “ Livi”at home last season.
-
Surely as good as a done deal, season long loan.
-
It’s one league game on a dreadful pitch against a team with one of the best home records in the league last season, take a look at the teams they beat on it including us. Let’s actually see how things pan out over the next half dozen games before we write people off.
-
Maybe they should go to more games and look at what’s been played on them, it’s not football. We might well get thrashed next Saturday but at least there will be some actual football on display.
-
The pitch, beat everyone.
-
Too early to tell for me, i’m not judging anything after one game on that pitch. I liked the look of Sloth when he came on last week and feel he will slot in to midfield when fully fit. We will know more about the Polworth/ Donnelly combination after a few games although next weeks game is already looking like damage limitation and Hamilton will be yet another sh#t fest and a pitch not much better than the Livingston’s one. I think one of better signings in the summer is Carroll, just shows how you can’t always rely on feedback from supporters of a previous club. But as others have said we need to sign a central striker, Scott needs to go out on loan which will be of far more benefit to his development, Long does not look the right fit to me either having seen him in a few games now.
-
Nope, I think the biggest influence was the pitch, and much of what happened came from the dreadful surface, the players lost faith in it very quickly when they realised you could not actually pass the ball on the ground and have any sort of consistency, pace, bounce of the ball, bobbles, players struggling to stay upright.
-
Sorry but “Did the pitch make a huge difference today” come on.
-
That pitch is a complete joke, you can’t play football on it, that’s not a deflection tactic, that’s just a plain fact.
-
Give it rest with your usual crap. That pitch is an absolute disgrace and completely influenced the game today.
-
We are here and having something to eat. Ticket desk at the entrance to the suite an no queue
-
They will, they are not going to turn people away and we will have more support than already allocated.
-
I thought you had to purchase tickets at the ground then go round to the turnstiles with said tickets. You can’t pay on the gate.
-
Very early, queue for your ticket, then queue to get through the turnstile, maybe up to 1500 well fans. I think anyone turning up after 2.30 pm is not going to see the kick off. We will look to be parked up at the stadium by 1.45pm

Ticket prices for Motherwell fans at Hamilton Accies
Yorkyred replied to Toxteth O'Grady's topic in Club Chat
I never go, it’s always dreadful. -
Sorry I did not mean my reply to come across as disrespectful.
-
Given there will be around 800 Livi fans I don’t think running out of seats will be an issue.

Can’t say I would be happy if I was an Accies fan.
