Looking at the retained/released list, i assume you are referring to Adam Livingstone when you talk about players knocking their pan in to get released, If not I'm lost cause there isn't really anyone else on it? As far as I'm aware Robinson (harry) is a more attacking player, on the wing from memory, he may well have been retained because we dont have any other wingers coming through the ranks, Livingstone has Carroll, Dunne (if fit) and Lamie (if the rumours are true) to get ahead of, so financially it doesn't make sense in these times. I wanted Livingstone to succeed as much as everyone else, thought he was outstanding against Sligo a few years back but he has had three loan spells and never really kicked on from them. People have also mentioned Harry robinson being part of the ni set up and being quite highly rated so it really doesn't seem that outrageous, from his few appearances in the reserves last season he also popped up with a few goals and assists.

Seen someone say he doesn't really fit the mould for a robinson winger after i posted my last message which I agree with, wouldn't be the worst addition by any means but probably much better to be had.

Mugabi was originally only signed until January because of Dunnes injury and put in a couple of good performances, Ibrox being one of them, he got into team of the week. I think most were probably reasonably happy when he signed the extension, he needs a run of games, much like any player before he can be judged properly.

I may be in the minority but I much prefer the current media content as opposed to the 'basic media content' the match updates for example don't interest me in the slightest, every 25 minutes highlighting the key points is fine, along with goals and subs. I couldn't care less about hearing of Chris long's shot that deflected of the Ross county CB in which the resultant corner was collected by Ross Laidlaw. Followed 30 seconds later by Ross countys quick break which was broken down by Grimshaw. When scrolling through the twitter feed it is a waste of time. We don't have another reserve game until the 9th march according to the website so I am guessing that's why he has been put in the squad. The team could do with the lift of having him back, must be some buzz knowing one of the best if not the best young player in Scotland is on the verge of coming back. I doubt anyone, Robbo, Physio, specialist or even the player would have been happy going back in the squad if he wasn't ready. I think everyone has dealt with the whole situation very well, not putting any timeline on it which in turn puts pressure on the player to be back for xyz. I have thought for a while that he is slightly further forward than the club are letting on, Robbo said a few weeks ago we don't expect to see him until April and here we are.

I have noticed in the last few games Maurice Ross has been playing more of a first team role on match days, he has been out on the park prepping defenders and against St johnstone was on at half time talking to Maciver. Not sure if this is coincidental or not.

Those hounding him out the door are wild, the second is probably a booking but I don't think there much in it, He tries to win back possession and is a bit late, it's not as though he has absolutely flew in to the challenge at any great pace or anything. Maybe a silly tackle to make in the grand scheme of things but you seem them go unpunished multiple times in a game. The boy Hunt's tackle on Aarons has went relatively unmentioned, that is a wild challenge, a sending off every day of the week, late, reckless, our of control, at speed, doesn't win the ball, anything else?

when you posted it, for me it was Donnelly and Polworth, I thought Donelly was done at CB however gladly ( or maybe more relieved) he played very well so I am happy to admit maybe I was wrong on that one, he maybe does still have CB in his locker. You do still have Polworth as a square peg in a round hole though playing in left midfield? It is a dilemma because when Turnbull is back, we have 4 very capable players for three roles. I don't know who drops out and I am glad it is not my decision.

Turnbull apparently back in full training and completed an 11 v 11 match according to viva motherwell on twitter.

you must be confident for saturday mate, starting with 10 men. saying that I agree with you on the line up, i'd have Maciver up top with Watt though, He done well enough on tuesday to warrant keeping his place. A bit light weight but that will come with games, and i'd rather see him get a run out over Manzinga...unless of course Long is back.

speaking of Gogic, out of contract in the summer, he does that role in front of the defence very well. The other Hamilton player i wouldn't mind looking at is Okgmpoe. A classic target man type striker, not sure on his contract situation.

in Mugabi's defence he did go down originally, someone mentioned behind me that it looked almost like a punch however I missed it. anyway, he did go down however the ref didn't stop play obviously and i think he has maybe tried to get back up and get back in?

I thought Maciver done well last night, his error for the second (shouldn't have been there in the first place) but he never let his head drop, wee bit light weight but won a few knock ons, like yourself glad he was given the nod ahead of seedorf or Manzinga. this is the team I text my pal, I don't think watt will be fit though so maybe Maciver again? on another note, where is semple, wasn't in the reserve squad the other day, or on our bench last night? I was surprised to Manzinga on the bench never mind come on after perth.
