Mckinstry is an entirely different situation to the other three. He hadn't broken into the first team so he went to Leeds to continue his development, with more money, better facilities, better players etc. The other three had broken into the first team already and probably could have benefitted from playing more first team football regularly, however they took the move and ended up being passed about from loan to loan until there contracts runs out, or in Hasties case, recalled early.

Even if it's the sort of money we are after, which it shouldn't be....at least a million in my opinion, with Chris long out maybe it leaves us even thinner up top with only a day left of the window. Much like Carson a few years ago, not enough time to replace him.

Absolutely, not only that but with a knee it's much harder mentally as well. If you were told someone snapped there ankle in two and someone had preventitive surgery on there knee, you would probably have there periods in the stands reversed.

On returns from Injury, I see Andre Gomes is now back training with the first team squad after just three months out. Considering his ankle was hanging off that is very good going, I don't believe for a second that Turnbull has been in the best hands in his recovery, but it's mad how he can be back training within 3 months after his injury compared to Turnbull who has been out 7 months with keyhole preventative surgery. Just goes to show the complications that come with Knee surgery and how much it takes to get back to normal, if it ever will.

So despite me trying to out smart the system, and sign up for the well society the day tickets went on sale, I still, and rightly so may I add, need to wait until Monday. So if anyone generous fans have a spare, would be VERY much appreciated.

Agreed, I have since signed up to the well Society in order to get a ticket, which I now have. I get a ticket, the club get X amount out of me every month everyone's happy. it's not as though there aren't ways around it. the Extra seating stuff is nonsense, nothing more needs said on the matter. Would be gutted if I were to be one of the fans that missed out on a ticket right enough, should be a right good day.

on the topic of tickets, seen a few comments along the lines of shambles, fucking joke, bit poor, I think the club have done the right thing here, what else are they supposed to do. You can guarantee the same people, if indeed they had season tickets, missed out on a ticket because there was nothing in place to prevent your average punter picking one up would be raging. Season ticket holders should get first dibs.

Not being at the game, it might well be two points lost. However I don't think anyone would have been too disappointed with a point at 3pm. 4 points from Aberdeen away and hibs at home in what looked like a run of 4 games where even three points would be a good return. Clean sheet, 5 clear of aberdeen, still 12 ahead of Hibs. A good result.

Elliot Frear in a nightmare 11 is an absolutely wild shout, he wasn't a world beater by any stretch of the imagination but to have him in a nightmare 11 is way off the mark.
