Completely agree, Rangers and Celtic are a different prospect at Hampden, I suspect rangers even more so since we ran them off the park a few seasons ago after going ANOTHER year without a trophy. Ideally someone else does the job for us, and we get a nice easy route to hampden.

The sales opportunity that we miss every season though is not having the strips on sale for the summer holidays, our kit is due to come out on the 22nd july, by which time most families have been and gone, kid's are back to school in a few weeks time and the opportunity is missed, you have your people who buy kits religiously but surely aiming to have the kit on sale for to tackle the holiday market has to a priority. on a similar note, if we have the kits on sale for the summer holidays you can then try and get kids kicking a ball down the park in the motherwell top, rather than the rangers top or the celtic top, wee daft things like that are how you get hooked, celebrating a goal pretending you are a David Turnbull.

Disagree with the Campbell playing deep part, I have watched the u20's on a few occasions and if anything he is playing too far forward, almost behind the striker. However we could be watching completely different games and he has been deployed differently in both. Either way I am sure we can agree that both are the wrong place to play him.

I Agree, I like to see the build up of the goal, i want to see how player X ended up one on one with the keeper before taking the ball around him. each to their own I suppose.

This is very much my take on things, 6 months seems very excessive for something that's not there. As i mentioned already, if he never had a medical anywhere this summer would we even have known about it.

If Turnbull never had the medical this summer, no one would be none the wiser whether or not he needed preventive surgery would they? I have no idea how these things work, will he be given the choice of surgery or is it a must?

I never actually thought of it in terms of playing against these clubs on a weekly basis, but there is absolutely a pull about playing european football. it's all ifs buts and maybes, at the moment. 3 million in the bank, some great times watching him in what was very short lived.
