Dawes should be out the door. I rather move him on than SK. Was looking at some of the players we had on our books not long before Dawes took over. Carson, Gillespie, Aldred, Gallagher, Watt , Turnbull, Campbell . Crikey even likes of Cole, Long, Grimshaw and Donnelly begin to look decent compared to some of our most recent signings. I'm stunned he's not been released. He's cost us a fortune.

With the announcements this week it will be very difficult to sack the manager. No chairman, no CEO, no money, not announced whatever the cunning initiatives are. Having some continuity will be desired. Appreciate if we don't find a win before the NY it becomes difficult to justify but there's a clear mantra being pumped through social media and beyond about being in it together. The club really won't want to have to sack the manager at this moment in time.

Having a core of youngsters coming through would be better by a country mile than the journeyman approach . not expecting to create a faddy or turnbull evey year but our long line of players coming through has declined over the last 20 years . Like the idea of a model of bringing through youth with a sprinkling of experience . For this we need a long term plan and give someone like SK time to bring it to life

Agree if we find 1-2 decent attack minded midfielders + 1 improvement upfront we’d be a decent team (assuming everyone is fit) Also appreciate we may end up 10th or 11th this season but can’t see this run continuing and I can see other teams having their own shit fests

completely on the same page - Slattery spends most of the game looking for free kicks rather than cracking on with the game. Something not right with his overall mentality and all in honesty a passenger who we need to release. He & Spittal both get more game time that perhaps they deserve but at least Spittal is an honest trier who's probably just limited. V's Slattery is one of those frustrating types who has ability but a questionable mentality. Think I'd prefer Bair in midfield than Slattery - just on workmate alone.

I posted about Derek on a different thread but I found it honest and refreshing - the standard is garbage , much poorer than league 2 - he's right to call it out - his timing is questionable but what he said I thought was on the money.

A month or so ago I was convinced time was up but recent weeks are much improved. Suspect a few wins are just around the corner .

Gent , Spencer or Kelly - all had very good games

Personal view is we're a team that's improving. we've only lost 1 of the last 5 games Appreciate the winless run and the concerns we all have but as the weeks go on I think SK is doing a lot well. We needed to strengthen midfield and we have , we needed Gent and Spencer in wingbacks and we have. If we strengthen midfield and attack in Jan I think we'll be pretty solid. The issue for me today was Slattery/SPittal offer very little. As most one of them should play but due to lack of squad both are getting a game. I personally see things getting better. I've seen much worse performances than what we've put in over the last month.

He’s his own worse enemy for hitting the ground - if he would focus on playing football rather then trying to win fouls he could prove useful - such a poor mentality

I think we'll win today and by more than a single goal. No clue why, maybe it's the rum in my hot chocolate but we deserve 3 points and need to bring this awful run to an end.

our stinky run started with losing in Paisley, be great to end it there. Time to get 3 points on the board and give us something to cheer about. Feeling update about this one.

It does feel a bit different. In part as the players are trying and also in part we don't wan't to just keep binning managers , it can't be the right solution. Also not having a CEO in place, the club feels lost at sea. That all being said we need to start winning or irrespective of how likeable and he'll need to go. Same for Daws in recruitment, it's been shocking.

If we're 2 up with 10 to go I'll be too excited to notice what the hell we do. Personally think 2 forwards is the right balance and would be nice to see Slattery/Spittal further up where they add the most value.

I'd be happy to go old school. Have 2 defensive mids and 2 forward thinking midfield. I believe we need to be better at moving forward/backwards as a team and shoring up midfield is key to that. Additionally having Spencer and Gent hitting the bi-line and get crosses in. Kelly Spencer Mugabi Blaney Gent Davor. Paton Slattery. thanks for the update @wellfan. Not impressed with the club at the moment, radio silence leaving it up to SK to speak to press re the future of his role , not sorting out the CEO role for well over a year. Appreciate lots of well intended folk but frustrated at lack of communication , drive and vision.
