Could ryhme off a good few reasons for this
-
I asked this a couple of days ago now and had no response...how does the modern-day football fan get his/her point across when they're not enjoying what they're watching? Shout abuse and boo? Stop going altogether? Sit on their hands and act like they don't care? Take to social media and criticise? I've read loads of folk saying that verbal abuse isn't on...and I get that, but to me there is a huge difference between a shout like 'this is fucking rotten Kettlewell' to something like 'I hope you die in your sleep Brendan Rodgers' Genuinely, is the support just meant to wring their hands and mutter under their breath when the 'entertainment' is unbelievably honking?
-
Supporters this week have been told this week that they're not allowed to vent their feelings at games...this fella has decided the next best option is to remove his funding.
-
In a world where, no amount, level or type, of verbal abuse is allowed...just how are the modern fitba fans meant to show their unhappiness at whatever drivel it is that's been served up? This is a semi-serious question...yes, we are there to support but at what stage are we allowed to be unhappy and what form should that unhappiness be shown?
-
Aye but what about the folk that said no one in their right mind would apply for a job with such aggressive and feral supporters?
-
Honestly, couldn't care less about rangers or celtic...but I would care if that walloper Lennon was anywhere near our Club, his managerial record is stinking and he's an idiot, who seems to relish in falling out with people.
-
I'd honestly love to see the likes of Kettlewell and SOD spend a season at one of the old firm that was doing poorly...they'd know all about it then. If said abuse of SOD, is 'yer no very good Stephen' then I'm as guilty as charged.
-
Now we're talking... ...or is that too abusive?
-
These things get out, particularly if the bust up was in front of the rest of his backroom team and a squad full of players
-
Not sure I agree with this...Robinsons blood and thunder style of play with Moult, Bowman, Hartley, Aldred etc was far easier to watch than the passive, stand off-ish, 30% possession at McDiarmid park daftness that's been served up recently. Not that I want Robinson back, nor think he would come back either

The more I think about this, the more annoyed I'm getting at SK and him citing abuse from the stands as his reason for rapping it...I'm glad he has mind, but it looks to me that he's hiding behind that excuse (there is no way, that the abuse was that excessive that it's forced a pure dead fitba man into chucking it) because he knew the writing was on the wall after recent performances from the team on the park, the recent spate of run-ins he's had with officialdom and his incredibly stupid interview where he couldn't have been more condescending to the people who pay his wages if he'd tried. I didn't have a huge opinion on SK before today, either positive or negative but he's gone way down in my estimation now.

Frails relationship with Kettlewell was strained I believe Loads will apply as always...its a great job, with supportive people at the Club, a decent budget and a good salary The day that fitba supporters don't let their frustrations be known to players, managers and club officials, is a day that will never happen. Wow... I don't 'hate' him and genuinely couldn't give a shite what his background is...I dislike him because he is an obnoxious wee fanny who has a habit of falling out with folk AND his managerial record is pish Anne Kettlewell has surprised me by leaving, but maybe a pragmatism has kicked in? He doesn't want a relegation on his CV and can see that's the way we are hurtling Wonder if he will apply again Seems to me that his family didn't like what they were hearing in regards to SK from the stands rather than them being abused personally...it would be a bit odd for the average punter to even know if he had a wife, let alone who she actually is.
-
Can we get Steelboy back so we can hear his thoughts?
-
Basically...shut the fuck up and watch whatever I put in front of you, because you've never kicked a baw properly. Dangerous road to go down
-
Maybe he's slightly over-hyped (or well marketed) by the club? He made a dreadful decision going to Parkhead, a club that really doesn't fancy playing many young Scots when it matters Hopefully the club know what they are doing...its a very brave game to be playing with under 18months to go on his contract
-
They come to our club because they have bills to pay...and like it or not, I'd imagine every club has similar reactions from fans who are enduring some utterly miserable performances

St Johnstone V Motherwell 18/01/2025: Scottish Cup

That was pathetic -
He's absolutely red rotten
-
Cannae beat facts
-
I'd cut out the daft individuals that are making them...particularly the ones that are repeat offenders
-
I genuinely cannot believe we are still persevering with Stephen O'Donnell, people keep comparing him to Paul McGinn but one is consistent and the other an absolute abomination
-
It was a shite challenge and Watkins knew exactly what he was doing...it had potential to be very nasty for Gordon
-
When we're shite, we're really shite...such a difficult watch
-
We played a game relatively recently at Ross County, where the travelling support were not considered

Struggling for positives from that 90minutes, absolutely crap from back to front. 3 centre backs uncomfortable on the ball, that absolutely liability wearing the captains armband on the right and young Wilson who looks devoid of confidence. The midfield 3 is an absolute abomination, the 3 of them are pish. Watt is playing based on former glories and anyone that thinks Maswanhise is a centre forward needs certified.
