No one has went into meltdown mode as far as I can see. We’ve been rank rotten today and posters have described the performance as such. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
-
Thank God we’ve already secured safety, that’s the only positive to take from today.

That’s it exactly you can’t celebrate goals now and that feeling of pure elation has been ripped away by VAR. Every goal you score you’re just waiting to see the ref with his finger to his ear and the screens showing “Checking possible whatever”. Never mind spend more money and upgrade it, just get it in the fucking bin.
-
Going by the rules it is the correct decision but it’s just this jobsworth examining every single goal with a magnifying glass to find the slightest thing that’s the issue. VAR was brought in to correct “clear and obvious” errors but that along with the one that went our way last week was not “clear and obvious”. If we ditched VAR tomorrow I would be delighted. It is a cancer of modern football.

Get var so far to fuck. It doesn’t matter if it goes for you or against you it is absolutely destroying the game.

Same. I’m only interested in Motherwell and what’s best for us. Maybe that sounds parochial or narrow minded but too bad if it does, that’s just the way it is. I don’t go to games to be entertained by the opposition, I go to support Motherwell.

“Twist and shout” instantly brings back memories of the playoff games. Singing it after being kept in after the game at Ibrox and the entire ground belting it out once we went ahead on the Sunday at Fir Park. Ten years ago come the end of this month.
-
I’m sure that both those songs were before the game that day. The entire ‘Well end singing it and it was a great atmosphere. Scooter - Maria (I like it loud) was common during the early days of Jim Gannon’s time. Chumba Wamba depressingly playing out “I get knocked down but I get up again” after a loss for years. And the horrendous ‘mash-ups’ of the late 00s/early 2010s

2-0 Hearts

We won. Just take satisfaction from that and enjoy your weekend.

I never claimed to have a crystal ball. And I’m glad that I am proved wrong. Up the ‘Well
-
Fantastic result and 100% satisfaction to win in that manner.
-
No worries Eliza. It’s just something that always annoys me. I’m gonna enjoy my lamb chalks this evening.
-
It’s ‘chalked’ off. CHALKED Not chopped.
-
Which is a lifeline for us as it keeps Ross County at bay.
-
Pathetic defending. Game done and with a trip to Tynecastle next week then anyone who thinks we’re safe is dreaming.
-
Bad day so far. We’re deservedly losing and other results aren’t going our way. It’s going to be too close for comfort.
-
Great bit of goalkeeping from Ox there, fine double save.
-
3-1 defeat I reckon.

I was wrong about that, I accept that. Obviously I didn’t have a crystal ball when I made that statement, I based it on our form and results this season. One win since the beginning of March and more or less zero shots on target in the last three games. Once we retreated into our shells in the second half and conceded to bring it to 3-2 with over 20 minutes to go then was it really unreasonable or unrealistic to think we’d throw the win away? Finally….my ‘negative schitck’ being ‘my thing’….I’m saying nothing. But I’m still waiting on your evidence of Hearts fans posting stuff to the effect of “don’t worry Rangers, we’ve got your back tomorrow” that you claimed that you’d seen on Twitter/X in March 2024. Any luck with that or shall we just file it under 100 odd things that never happened? 🤷♂️
-
But it’s easy to say “much ado about hee haw” once the games finished and the result is known….isn’t it?
-
And you knew that when we conceded to bring the scoreline back to 3-2 with 25 minutes to go did you? I wouldn’t say “talking shite” it’s just me making an observation that we cannot help ourselves chucking the opposition a lifeline when we are two goals ahead. Which we have done so many times over the years. Fortunately today it didn’t end with us dropping points. Anyway, enjoy your evening.

Balcombe is Aaron Chapman levels of shite.
-
We just cannot help ourselves when two goals ahead. We’re not winning this one.
-
He’ll be gone at the end of the season regardless of what league we are in imo.
