  1. I think Christmas is commercialised shite personally. But Happy Birthday Jesus
  2. We’ve drawn the last two games at Parkhead and we tend not to get hammered there against them like we do at Fir Park these days. That said a result here is unlikely and a clean sheet is simply not going to happen. I’ll opt for the optimistic outlook and predict another 1-1 draw.
  3. Only way to describe that is ‘frustrating’.
  4. Watt back in for Tawanda. Nicholson out due to illness.
  5. They were but likewise delighted they got none. And beating Dundee Utd will never not be enjoyable, arrogant chumps that they are.
  6. Games like that are great when we win. Obviously there were/are issues with our defending which was horrific for two of the three goals we conceded today. And if we’re being honest we were second best for the entire second half where we rode our luck especially with Moult hitting the bar seconds before Sparrow’s fine finish for the 4th. But goals win games and we scored four and they scored three and that’s the only thing that matters at the end of the day.
  7. I don’t mind happy clappers as long as we win. Had we drawn that 3-3 or 4-4 and the happy clappers were ‘celebrating’ it because it was a “great spectacle” and all that it would have been a different story. Big leap to the left! YAAAAAASSSSS! Big leap to the right! YAAAASSSSSS! We lost 5-6 or drew 6-6 but what a spectacle! YAAAAAASSSSSS! But today we won and that’s the most important thing.
  8. Motherwell 4 Dundee United 3 I like that scoreline
  9. For the love of God hold this time ffs!
  10. This is pish. Only a matter of time until they equalise.
  11. Hiya pal. Is it Half time yet on your feed? Good stuff so far and great to see Ap Stam on the goal trail. And another goal for Staunch Andy, he’s chipped in with a few big ones this season so far. Long way to go yet.
  12. I wouldn’t speak too soon, we will concede the next goal to make things nervy and uncomfortable, nothing surer.
  13. Kaleta, Paton and Tawanda start. Nicholson on the bench again, hopefully features at some point.
  14. I wish I was a as ‘fat’ as him He’s a big built guy with an arse like a tree trunk which he can use to his advantage. But he certainly isn’t fat. He’ll be a loss next week.
  15. Priceless win! That’s what Tony Watt can bring to the team!
  16. I wonder if we’ll see a banner or two from the Well Bois today in ‘protest’ at the SPFL’s unfair treatment of the club due to their own actions?? And given that St.Mirren away usually brings a few flashpoints with them and the stewards it’ll be interesting to see if they can actually behave otherwise any ‘protest’ will just look futile.
  17. No complaints over this but it’s the club that stand to suffer as a result of the actions of a selfish minority of louts. If we are fined the ‘Block E’ mob should be made to club together and pay it.
  18. I never said it was and I acknowledged that we had had some bad luck with our ridiculous catalogue of injuries over the past couple of seasons, Biereth being the obvious bad luck case. My point however was that just about every injury we get is long term and that simply cannot be written off as misfortune.
  19. It goes back further than this season too. You look at last season with Slattery, Wilkinson, Obika and Biereth all sidelined for significant periods of times. Obviously there was some bad luck in that list but it can’t all be put down to that. Perhaps in this case it is yes, but the fact that here we have yet another player ruled out for months on end has to raise questions about our recruitment and what we are doing in training. It’s a physical game and players will get injuries, there is no getting away from that. However it’s the frequency and length of time that our players end up out for that is the issue here.
