Humphrey was given the tricky task in the second half of keeping their left back 'Parr' quiet. By far Aaselunds best player. Would not be suprised to see him go onto better things. Overall a fantastic and very professional performance.

There was a decent atmosphere in the first half in the East. As the team got jittery the fans did too. Its just a natural reaction. Of course the Norwegians were going to out sing us. They were all wankered! Remember Nancy? We out sang them the whole game. Why? Cos we were all wankered! Over the course of a season I agree the atmosphere is shite, but I think that comes with crap weather and facing the same teams all the time.

Seriously. All of those teams would pump us silly. Napoli have a team full of world class players!

Just to fuel the fire. I saw Esteban getting shown round the outside of Fir Park by a guy with blonde spikey hair at about 7pm tonight. Esteban was with his girlfriend. So looks like he is still in Motherwells plans and has not been shipped out yet.

Cracking result despite their last minute 'nalty. From the highlights we looked dangerous up until we scored then it looked like we sat back a bit. Not sure though. Also from the highlights its seems as though Hateley and Murphy both had good games which is pleasing. We really have a good advantage now. Its sounds like they don't travel too well and seem to struggle on grass pitches. So basically we need to create an intimidating atmosphere at Fir Park and really get them riled. Also they will have to chase the game which will put them at risk on the counter attack. Game on!

WATCH OUT! IT'S HAMMER TIME

Of course I would take Hartley. Excellent player, but he is 33 and will be on at least 3-5 grand a week, maybe more. But I would rather invest the money in a younger player on a 3 year conttract and sell him on for a profit. Aka Hateley.
