  1. With presumably numbered vouchers only valid from that game onward
  2. Ah Young Grasshopper you found the 'add reply' button I see, welcome aboard. Beginning to think that they just don't like football - full stop. Great opportunity to promote the club in the wider community - what do we do NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Get a move on and get something sorted and good luck to the 'Steelburds' - copyright Trafficlight tomorrow in their respective finals - the Under 13's can't lose, the two teams contesting the final are the MFC Girls and the MFC Academy teams.
  3. C'mon Flow time to make good on past promises!!! From what I can gather approaches have been made on several occasions to get this off the ground. Additionally, attempts have been made for the successful teams to parade their trophies at a forthcoming match, which to date, again have met with no success. Its not that long ago that a young boy's club from Wishaw - with no connection to MFC - were afforded this opportunity and yet there appears to be a reluctance to allow the most successful girl's teams in the county the same chance. These girls are a credit to their coaches and MFC and a healthy number of them are season ticket holders at Fir Park. They have lifted silverware in all categories - wiping the floor with both halves of the Old Firm in the process (which in itself should guarantee that the girls be presented to the crowd). Is it really logistically that difficult to organise something - lots of things are improving down Fir Park way, let's not spoil it by ignoring our 'own'. Care to comment Flow?
  4. If your OH has that much problem with all things Claret and Amber, then perhaps time to keep the strip , change your name and HIM.
  5. Ricky - Gary Mac actually scored couldn't tell who set him up, but remember vividly celebrating the Forbes header, for what seemed ages until I realised that he'd missed, the dangers of Buckfast and 'Old English' Cider amply demonstrated.
  6. Angie - great result, it doesn't matter at what level it is beating either of the OF gives a special buzz!!!!, only thing is this wasn't a beating, but a mauling - right roon them!!!!!!!!
  7. Your mind must really be playing tricks, we were in the Main Stand at the 'Farningham' Game. I think Ibrox may have been under some form of refurb at the time. Really need to refresh the page more often . Think we were allocated a fair portion of the bottom tier (If not all) of the bottom tier of the Broomloan Stand - not saying we filled it but it was sit where you wanted, at the Burns game, no corner stands at that time, these were filled in later. Most teams were given a fair portion of the Broomloan lower tier, cause the Loyals were hmmm......................not Loyal at that time.
  8. Ricky - don't know if he is the player - but the club where the loan signing is coming from is Everton - Excellent source though can't reveal it - so don't ask
  9. Huge 'well done to Emily - what an opportunity. Definitely something for the younger girl's to aspire to.
  10. I thought that too - certainly it was his name which was mentioned - well Megerry - at the time of the chance - so might not have been.
  11. Really pleased to see a Motherwell team so confident in possession and not resorting to the aimless punt. We are controlling the game, but our inability to defend corners and set-pieces might just be our undoing. There only chance when they hit the bar again from a corner.
  12. It was only a matter of when, the press published this story. Here's to a speedy recovery Jim and all the very best, hope to see you at Fir Park for many a year to come.
  13. Had a great time mate and good for him (though you really should have had a fatherly! (oops forgot you were a blue-nose) word of advice to him prior to this to warn him of the consequences of his fashion disaster - was all meant in good fun - as was the comment. If I find anything video wise, will let you know on this thread. All the best.
  14. Wellfan29 - Wasn't getting at you for the post mate - just clarifying your 'apparently' comment.
  15. ? - you know something the rest of us don't
  16. Nothing much at all after the initial hype - but would prefer it that way until the deals are signed - we as a club have probably been hurt more with media/agents alerting other interested parties of transfer targets than anyone else.
  17. Crazy Diamond - thanks for the update I'm glad to hear that Mr Miller appears OK - though as you suggest what this might have done to him psychologically is anyones guess. Afraid I wouldn't have been so understanding over the incident - but good luck to him and all respect to him and his wishes. I know I keep dragging this up but did anything further take place at Wishaw after the drop-off. If it did then I hope that that action will be taken against the individual concerned as well - just that nothing seems to have been said about that. Can/Will action still be taken against these thugs - by way of banning orders, even though no charges are being brought?
  18. Slane for me purely for his willingness to take control and use of the ball intelligently at every opportunity - think we may have unearthed one or two gems again - Forbes and Saunders (look as though they will come good as well, if we give them time) - mind you wasn't it Alan Hansen who said "you cannot win anything with kids", go Jim and just like Fergie lets prove him wrong.
  19. Cheers, no point in speculating, no doubt will hear in the fullness of time what happened, just makes me sad to think that it all might have gone off again. I don't think I would have been quite so reasonable about pressing charges had I been involved, throw the book at them I say. If no charges are pressed, can the authorities still impose football banning orders, without a court case? Anyone in the know?
  20. Fair do's mate - didn't know how close you were to the incident - didn't think for a minute that any punch had been thrown prior to the attack. Any news on the incident that happened when the bus arrived at Wishaw. By the way the bluetooth transfer was succesful - thanks - my nephew adores Star Wars and having got a new mobile for his birthday, now has a treasured Yoda ringtone as well. I was sitting directly in front of you. Yir - good to see that action is taken, we can't afford to sweep these type of things under the carpet. As a positive to all this doom and gloom I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers for making the trip as comfortable and enjoyable as it was - without the dedication and commitment of these individuals none of the rest of us would have had such an easy time getting to the game - thanks I for one certainly appreciate your efforts.
  21. That's the worst of these types of incidents - stories are generated and opinions based on 'facts' (otherwise known as Chinese Whispers). The addition of alcohol dosen't help matters any either. Yes there is a certain sympathy with the 'Older' man, but unlike you I didn't see what actually happened to spark the incident, but was relying on 2nd hand stories - your comment, if true - and I have no reason to disbelieve you any more than I have to believe others I spoke to - it puts a slightly different slant on things, but still doesn't change my utter contempt for anyone willing to take this action against an 'old' man - no matter what the provocation might be.
  22. Polomint did you happen to have a 'yoda' ringtone which you shared early in the journey . Please tell me this didn't happen at Wishaw - though the potential was there after the threats had been made on the return journey - if it has then I think the perpetrator should also receive some form of punishment - he is a well-known 'face' (having been married very publicly on the fir park playing surface some years ago). Names and addresses were given to bus organisers so a method of elimination should provide the necessary information to the club. Can anyone confirm what actually happened. Great result on the park last night - huge OG off it though
  23. Nope not him Stall - but he was in Llanelli - saw him on the tele re-run this morning. EDIT - Just noticed Polomint beat me too it. Mate you were obviously on the same bus as me - where were you sitting?
