Youve got to wonder who pushed for Slattery to be cited. St Mirren? Surely the officials did not as it only highlights how bad they are!
-
Re your last paragrath, would be nice, but it wont happen. The officials will make honest mistakes....
-
Cant see Slattery resigning now after this. As said every player and official cheats to some exstent. VAR has apparent definitions when they get involved. Whats is the definitions for the compliance officer, who is it? to get involved? Also will he now have a look at Camara sending off incident against Hearts? Or will it be ignored as the sending off was upheld, even although the Hearts guy was at. There are so many issues involving the Glasgow two clubs and officials that keep going unchecked that merit more compliance involvement. The game in this country is being run by clowns with a bowling green club mentality. Which is probably unfair to bowling clubs. Fans ask for consistancy and the authorities invent ways to make things worse. Baffling! Collum and VAR needs to go. They have shown especially with this and recent incidents they are not fit for purpose. Clubs in the top league need to put on their big boy pants and have a serious discussion about VAR and the way the game is being run.

Will Clancey and co be suspended for their cheating re Chamberlains red card offence on Just? Its on the audio! Will Chamberlain be cited for a dangerous tackle? or is falling over to highlight an assualt attempt worse than injurying an opponent? What about simulation to win penalties? At the time it could not be proved the saints player connected but now we are to believe he did not. Another example of over zealous authorities with a new agenda. Irrespective of the rights and wrongs they have made up a punishment and hammered the small guys. No chance they do this to Celtic or Rangers. Going forward, Con the authorities and be hammered but the officials now need to be held accountable for their lack of professionalism and constant, apparently honest, mistakes. The whole thing stinks. At this point of the season a quiet word in his ear and notice they would clamp down on it next season would have sufficed. Another point. The saints player being sent off did not hinder them. They were already beat and successfully appealed the decision prior to next game. Players con officials at every turn. Where do they draw the line?

Two teams happy to draw. Not enough up front again.
-
Get the big man on.
-
Another poor half by us.
-
Hibs slowing game down to walking pace. We need to up the pace of game.
-
This Hibs guy certainly takes his time at throw ins. Time wasting? And now at the corner.
-
JT fluffs a chance.
-
Seem to be missing Longelos drive down the left. Johnny K has been a big miss also.
-
Priestmans toenail
-
Alot of slack passes from defence into midfield. Everything seems abit flat. Slattery non existant and JT yet to turn up. We could do with another ball carrier ie Said.
-
JT not at the races. His decision making is not very good so far.
-
Take it the 8 second rule has been scrapped.
-
Looks a very good home support today. Not many spaces in the stands. Just noticed its Dickinson as referee. Oh well..... wonder if Clancey is on VAR?
-
Im suprised anyone outwith his favourites turn up. Clarke is everything that is wrong with the Scottish game.
-
Thats what the rules say apparently. At the highest level and cant get it right.
-
Newcastle player commits similar offence to Longelo against Barcelona. Referee initially gave nothing only for VAR to get involved. Penalty and yellow card given! Whats the rules again? As someone said our officials always go for the most severe punishment.
-
Longelo gave the officials a decision to make. Very soft but the sort of challenge that the old firm get awarded penalties for week in week out. The issue like the game at Fir Park is that questions need asking on why the officials failed to send Celtic players off for obvious offences. Tho it is a recurring theme for all teams against them. Then you have the officials turn a blind eye to shoves in their box or over zealous challenges. The shove was soft but a foul everytime outside box. Just was targetted yesterday and was kicked constantly with no protection from the officials. Given how tight the title chase is these officials and the decisions they make are only going to be more biased and outrageous. Hearts have no chance. As for the media and Authorities they ignore the big issues and as a result our game is still in the dark ages and struggles to modernise. All we can do is play our football and try to grow as a club.
-
I would be suprised if we dont bring in a few defenders in the summer.
-
Irrespective of the penalty we have been poor in the 2nd half. Defence overall today has struggled and no threat up front. Like first game we shot ourselves in the foot conceeding a soft goal and never recovered. Never a disgrace to lose in Glasgow given the resources they have and officials to help out when needed. Said, Longelo and Sparrow way to slack with ball and poor defensively. JT was non existent. So thats four players down during game. Struggle to win when thats happening.

This clear and obvious needs ditched. Game is being rerefereed to the benefit of big teams.
