Could our downturn in form be connected to a probable reduction in win bonuses? With Dempster in charge we were romping the league and losing money left right and center. She leaves, we get perhaps a proper grip on finances and suddenly the desire, energy and hunger to win seems to have vanished, bar the playoffs where presumable the players got a small incentive. Once that goes, and we start to lose, confidence gets hammered, and it's hard to get that back. I also don't think this chat about trusting certain players in public by the manager is anything other than stupid. Given the nature of the game a manager is going to need his full squad to be onside and motivated. If you worked under a manager that did not trust you, would you give 100%? The managers job is to get the most out of all his players. It would seem since McGhee arrived certain players progression have stalled and in many cases went backwards. Why? It would appear our team's attacking ability has now been blunted by attempts (change of tactics) to address our defensive frailties. We dont have the players to defend, so why not just unleash the attacking players and go for it?

Yet, music festival crime is on the increase.....

Not good management to single out one player. Ainsworth is an all out attacker, and like Sutton before him will switch off in his own box from time to time. We aint playing that badly, and going by the radio we were the most likely to snatch a winner. But as normal, a nothing shot which for once was closed down, and flukes its way into the net. At the other end there player was in the right place to clear of the line. Fine margins.

going by the hearts forums he's apparently passed his sell by date, he oftens gets caught on the ball, give stupid free kicks away and contract runs til june 2017. Basically not good enough for them, now they are destined to bigger things. Time will tell, but at least its someone in who can play midfield.

I think some should stop trying to justify or second guess the officials decision. If penalties are going to be given for that then we would as well not bothering to play.

Pathetic, all the recent good work undone by 90 mins of utter tripe. It's one thing to lose against a good team on form , but to lose 6 is a joke from so called professional players. the club should reimburse those that travelled through today. Total joke that our team was apparently reliant on a guy who's ancient and a loanee with zero experience. This needs addressed now.

Bbc info would indicate a usual game from us. Plenty of effort. No luck with penalty. Wonder strike goes in.

Moult was getting into the nack of scoring goals before he was dropped and then shifted to the wing.

Very sad loss. Joe was a gentleman, and true legend. RIP

For what ever reasons the appointment of Ian Baraclough did not work out. These things happen in football and over recent years we as a club have got it right more often than not, so it's harsh to be to critical of those who did appoint him. The main thing now is that the board have acted and probably quicker than some expected. We know need to move on as a club, and knuckle down and work even harder.

Malky McKay, Brian McDermott, Gordon Strachan.

Which of my comments are not valid cause i was not at the game or i wrongly assumed based on others opinions?

its hardly a reshuffling job swapping one player. In many peoples opinion an uncomfortable Laing is still a better option than Law. Kennedy can play right back, but by all accounts was having a very good game in the center. As for who comes off, i cant believe he would have chosen to take off his only other proper midfield player (Leitch), unless he needed to come off for either poor performance or fitness issues. Hopefully next week their are more options in the middle.
-
hows it bizarre to move law into midfield, and have laing at right back, when he needs to replace presumably leitch who's ran out of steam. There did not seem any other options available.
-
the stats would imply a bog standard comfortable win. Plenty of attempts at goal again, but few on target. Be interesting to hear from those at the game. Anyhow a good 3 points and clean sheet.

better ask weeyin if hes allowed to start tomorrow

i remember the days when fans lapped up new signings with non one hoot of a care about the clubs finances. None of us know where we are with regards to the wage budget, and i am sure we will sign another midfield player. A real pacy forward is something we did not have, but do now apparently. It's upto the strikers to deliver when they start otherwise they will be dropped. Lets get back to the 235 formation!
-
why replace Kennedy? by all accounts it was Laing that had a nightmare. There are others as well who may be lucky to even make the bench.

seem to recall us scraping past morton in the past, and that cup campaign ended non to badly..

in years to come we will find out Gannon, Barraclough were related, and just misunderstood.
