  1. Fair dos bud. Just think some go to far and enjoy our demise. Be pissed off but never give up. Motherwell never do things the easy way. So these two games are not a lost cause just yet. Get over these and then take stalk.
  2. Moral high ground. Aye good one. You would think this was an old firm forum full of glory hunters who throw toys out pram when things go against us. Mind you some did that when we were winning. I hate it when we get beat but have learned with age to just shrug the shoulders now and move on and support team what ever league we play in.
  3. Its strange how on most occasions we drop down to st mirrens dismal standard. Sutton, for stepping up to take penalty.
  4. Costs and the way the game is being run into the ground does not help. Nice night in watching game on tv versus sitting in a freezing cold stadium on a wet night watching players failing to do the basics. Mmm hard choice for many
  5. Lets do them. Pay back time please.
  6. Normal service resumed i see. Win last week and quiet board. Lose this week and usual suspects are out in force demanding heads to roll. No middle ground. Our away form has been dreadful all season but bar stupid individual errors yet again we could have stole that today. Sure performance was not good in fact it was average but given pressures involved silky football away from home was never going to happen. Weve lacked mental strength for years in big games bar the odd fluke with various managers. Circumstances this season with fitness, injuries, aging players and contracts winding down have contributed to nightmare season where even an experienced manager would have struggled. We are where we are and turning our backs as much as alot of the criticism is merited will only make matters worse. Weve two finals to play against lets be honest beatable teams. So lets just hold off the scalping for now.

    Relegation

next week will be very difficult, as we seldom get good results at their ground. However, we've got everything to play for, and with a bit of luck we can sneak it. St Mirren might have got a lift from their result today, but that result together with last nights result would have boosted our own confidence.
  8. great result. We showed good character after losing the goal to battle on and see out the game. Still not getting the rub of the green from the referees much like most of the season. Hopefully we get that next week.
  9. as ive said Kille have us and partick in there next games, both away from home. The time to give up is when we mathematically cant catch them.
  10. partick and hamilton games were big, but were played away from Fir Park. County were the form team in the league unbelievably, but we have been decent at home. Its our last chance against a team struggling (Heard that before i know) but it's our last chance to avoid playoffs. We need a fluke perhaps, but we are due one.
  11. all hope gone my arse. A win against killie and its game on. We can catch killie who seem to be on freefall, much like Hibs last year.
  12. we needed to win our home games. Today again its seems we did not get the little bit of luck to get us over the line. Today was a big game, but game against killie not is now HUGE. No ifs or buts we need 3 points.
  13. Injured again apparently. It's now obvious we need Pearson to be firing on all cylinders for Lasley to perform as he can.

    Baraclough Out

It's hardly the managers fault when players don't do the basics or the ball does not run for you. Yes he is the man in charge and usually the fall guy but our senior players have just not turned up this season. On another night we score 6 and this thread is postponed for another week.

cant blame the manager for the chances we missed tonight or the pathetic individual errors from our so called experienced players, who have been guilty all season.
  16. is anyone really suprised by tonights score so far?
  17. to many individual mistakes again which have killed us. when your down the bottom every mistake seems to be punished. We had our chances, missed them and thats the way the cookie crumbles.
  18. bit far fetched to blame goalie. the defence vanished.
  19. that bounce of the ball on the pitch is mental.
  20. we need some luck, because you do get the feeling its one of those nights where nothing will go for us, and they will pinch another on the break.
  21. we've been pants but have had four good chances. need to take these.
