  1. Sutton puts the game to bed!
  2. Las booked for a bit of revenge by the sounds of things. Two bookings we could do without picking up. And we got a bit lucky there. Time to concentrate and put this completely to bed.
  3. What he said....most definetly. Been there enough of those times in the past. 1-0 good enough to go through.
  4. Might be one or two of these on board today....
  5. Why? What if we went to Greyskull and took Fleck on loan? I don't care where they came from, long as they do the biz.
  6. Doubt he's a bad player. Glad to have him on board!
  7. Of all the guys we could have got from Shellic, he's probably the best of the bunch. I believe he'll do the biz for us, and if so, it's about time Ginger did something in return for stealing Skippy so cheaply.
  8. Snow showers beginning to pack into the North East. Webcam in Inverurie shows a light covering of snow again....Inverurie
  9. Well, whatever happens, there's just over two hours left to do it in.... 1439: The Scottish Football Association have no plans to extend the transfer window beyond 5pm after the move got the go-ahead down in England.
  10. 15.01. or 2. Or something like that.........
  11. The way I feel the day wish I was! Been called a few things, guess a weather balloon is a bit of a compliment actually Think the Met Office underplayed the possibility of snow this morning. Conditions were perfect for the type of snowfall we've had, easterly winds and plenty of moisture coming in off the North Sea being funnelled through the Forth-Clyde valley. The stuff tonight is a much more organised area of snowfall.
  12. That's the current stuff. There's even worse on the way moving up the East Coast of England, down over the wash just now.
  13. The main worry could come later. There's a large area of snow forecast to track up the East coast later today and overnight, that could really come into play depending on how quickly it moves up the coast and inland.
  14. There may be little much snow in Inverurie, but between here and there it's very dangerous and if this continues it'll be essential journey only warnings going out. It's all very well to call folk drama queens, but when your life is at risk (and lets face it, on exposed Motorways in wild conditions, it is) then is a game of football really worth it?
  15. I suppose it depends who's got the game. I'd imagine about an hour before kick-off.
  16. Along with the snow we're getting/going to get, there's a large band of snow showers gathering off shore in the North East. With the proviso that the Ref is going to make a final call when he arrives, I'd leave travelling as late as you can.
  17. There's a huge wad of snow showers making their way from the SouthEast of Scotland and will run right across our area. It's going to be dangerous driving conditions today, and even if their park is okay for the game, the safety of the fans and our team travelling must be taken into account I'd say.
  18. There's a big stream of hefty snow showers making their way off the North Sea and into the east coast of Scotland today. This is not going to lessen, and I'd say in the interests of safety, that the game shouldn't go ahead. The snow has arrived a good deal earlier than forecast, but it's here, and it aint going to lessen unfortunately. At the moment it's affecting us worse due to the Forth-Clyde valley effect.
  19. Maybe he might take a cut just to get playing again. Others have done it in the past, and it put himself back in the shop window? Was angry when he left, but water under the bridge I guess.
  20. Keep your eye on this, the brighter the colours the greater the precipitation.... TheMetOffice
  21. Over the forecast period, we are more at risk from snow than Inverurie bizzarely enough! Could well be that the most difficult part of tomorrow's journey is the part home
  22. A full car park.....on a Sunday?
