I am certain that Reynolds won't do the dirty on us, being one of us himself. He's always said that when he leaves Motherwell he wants to ensure the club get a fee for him.
-
Am I the only one that's 'slightly' disappointed that the tickets are £15? They were £15 at Airdrie last year but that factored in the costs incurred of renting the stadium, so why can't it be £10 for Fir Park? Just a wee moan you understand!!
-
Well that could've been worse, at least there won't be scorching hot conditions to deal with this time! Mind you, Scandinavian teams tend to be big and physical, so we'll need to be ready for teh challenge.
-
That's actually a very good point. Reckon ESPN might wan't to televise that game given how the last Well v Hibs game went! On the fixtures as a whole, not too disappointed, except for having both bigots over crimbo, not very helpful that.
-
It seems a fairly risk-free signing. He's only young, and if it doesn't work out its only a one year deal. However, if he turns out to be a good 'un, we can extend his deal and eventualy make some cash from selling him on, as will Anorthosis with the sell-on clause. Everyone's a winner! Welcome to Motherwell Angelis, and good luck.

This is superb news on a number of fronts. Obviously having him in the squad is a great boost, as he can cover a few positions. Given that its a three year deal its likely he will earn the club a nice transfer fee when he moves on, so well done to all concerned. Now, what about Ruddy and the Duke too?!!!
-
Like the look of both kits, modern with the traditional Motherwell style, the way I like it!
-
It very much is a myth!! I spoke to Andy Roddie a few years back and put that point to him, and he found it very funny indeed!!
-
If this happens then Ruddy could be on his way back for another year, which would be great. If Fraser does go then good luck to him, he tried his best but wasn't quite good enough, not his fault at all.
-
That is of course true, but we'll have to be aware of the European signing deadline, which is about a week before our first tie. I'd rather have a few new faces in the squad and bedded in before the campaign begins.

82/83 was my first full season attending Well games, and that was the first Motherwell kit I owed. Although it was a turbulent time I look back upon it with fondness, as it's when my love for Motherwell developed and grew, despite the fortunes of the team on the park!!

I firmly believe that Craig Brown is far too honourable a man to even consider screwing us over in that way. If he says he doesn't need a contract and that he'll be with us next season then that's good enough for me. This seems very lazy of Shellic to consider approaching our gaffer, not to mention the arrogance of assuming he jump at the first opportunity. If he tells them to bolt then great, should send a message to them that the Shellic job aint the be all and end all.
-
Bloody hell that was twelve years ago, surely nothing can happen now??!!!!
-
Huge congrats to everyone at Fir PArk, a fifth place finish and third consecutive appearance in Europe is a fantastic achievement. Really chuffed, now when's the draw??!!!!
-
Normally I'd be looking for a great game without caring who won, but not today!! Whilst it would be nice for Ross County to win, United are the better side and have had a great season, so they deserve some success. United are not a side I hate, compared to the bigots and the Embra duo. Today I hope to like them even more! Not half jealous of the fans today! 2-0 United and its Europe here we come!
-
I would've been happier had it been a two year deal, but delighted nonetheless that we'll have Jenno for next season anyway. Now for Hateley and Coke!
-
It will depend on whether they can prove the players they left out had injuries or not. Its a tricky one cos if we were in their position we'd do the same. However, imagine United played a weakened line-up if both bigots were battling for the title, there would be an inquiry then for sure.
-
A tough one today, as we were poor in the first half and excellent in the second. No outstanding perfromances but a number of really good ones. My vote went to Lukas for leading the line well and for tucking away the nalty so coolly under pressure.
-
Craig Brown is an honourable man and won't screw us over. The business of signing new players, persuading Jennings, Hateley and Coke to stay, and getting as much dough as possible for Mark Reynolds begins now. Craig Brown's Motherwell Army!!!

When Lukas first arrived he wasn't match fit, and after a month a lot of folk thought he was a dud. Well hasn't he proved a lot of folk totally wrong. I mean he's played for weeks carrying an injury, how many loan players would do that? He's come up here and played for the jersey, and for that reason alone we will miss him.....unless a deal can be done, which is unlikely, but where there's life there's hope and all that! If not then he's left us with two wonderful memories and an excellent season. Thanks Lukas.

Proud as fuck but gutted after a 3-3 draw at the bigots den, who'd have thought it?!!! We are the comeback kings, of that there is no doubt!! We were up against is at times, but lost undeserved goals when we were on top at 0-1 and 1-2. Many team would've crumbled but not us. So very proud today, not many teams score three against them, even if it was a dubious nalty!! About time we got that break eh?!! Come on the Arabs next week now!!
-
Jings!! None of us expected that!! Hope you're right mate! Team-wise I'd make a few changes purely to freshen things up. I'd start Humphrey, McGlinchey and Fitzy and put Saunders, Murphy and the Duke on the bench to begin with. I believe we should start with a 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation to stifle them and quieten any party atmos. We CAN get a result here, depending on how we play and the attitude they have on the day. Obviously we'll all have an ear on Tannadice too, but my prediction is that we'll end the SPL season in 4th place, one way or another!
-
I'd like him to stay as I think we'll see the best of him next season, now he's had the chance to adapt to the SPL. On his day he's tremendous, he just needs to have more of those days!

Personally I don't leave games before the end, and would always encourage Well fans to stick with the team to the bitter end. That said, I can understand why some left, because at 6-2 down it looked hopeless. Those who did leave will feel bad enough, so they don't need the rest of us to rub it in!
