I still haven't quite worked out Hibs since Ross took over. In our last game we passed them off the park for large spells, but we lacked any quality or cutting edge in the final third and they took advantage. In other games they've cuffed Aberdeen, lost to Livi and Ross County and struggled to get past Accies in midweek. I thought they dominated for large spells in their cup tie against Utd, but still only managed a draw. If we are a bit sharper in the box than we were at Easter Road last time out, it should be enough to get 3 points here.

3-5-2 lets us play wingers (or 3-4-1-2 if you like). Gallagher, Hartley/Mugabi, Dunne as back 3. But as I said earlier, I'd be surprised (but happy) if we ever end up being able to get 90mins out of them at the same time. Robinson loves his wingers, though, and I'd be surprised to see him favour a line-up without one. (Also, not Tait).

Maybe revert to a 3-5-2? Although I suspect by the time Turnbull is fit to play for a full 90 either he or Polworth will have moved on.

I think some people confuse tackling with work ethic. Most new players take a little while to adapt to our high press tactics, but Polworth adapted pretty quickly. Like Billy Dodds said on Saturday - the tactics we use are about compressing the space available to the opposition and restricting their options on the ball; it's not just about tackling. (And even if he didn't do any of that, I'd still have him in the team just for his ability to see a pass or hit a dead ball.)

I thought it was a clear cut penalty when I was watching the live stream, but watching it later it wasn't quite as obvious. The player had lost control of the ball and, as they all do, made the most of the collision with Gallagher (who couldn't stop sliding). Probably still a pen under today's rules, but I've always admired Collum as one of our top referees and happy to accept his expert decision on this one

No. Basing it on the many reports in the media about the interest from multiple clubs north and south of the border and the (well documented) silly money Utd have spent on their promotion bids the last couple of seasons.

Having Donnelly back in the team made a big difference too - and not just for his goal.

Highlight of the game at the end where the Aberdeen commentator is complaining Gillespie held the ball for more than 6 seconds, but no referee ever picks them up on that. Then his co-commentator pointed out that rule doesn't exist any more. Excellent 3 points. Especially given the enforced changes before and during the game. Who says we can't win the important ones?

Aye, seeing what Newcastle did last night with 2 goals in the last minute of time added on, I won't be comfortable unless we go 3 up.

Part of it's due to the fact we are often ahead at half time, so the opposition has to come out all guns blazing.
