  1. Regardless - clubs break contracts all the time. Sacking managers, and ditching players are the most common examples, but Rangers have many more examples of breaking contracts recently.
  2. Apart from work, I've been watching all the English and Scottish league play-off games to keep me occupied this week.
  3. The only pictures I can think of are the ones taken at Hampden after we lifted the trophy. I don't remember anything official.
  4. A few weeks ago Robinson said that this was (obviously) the first step and he wanted to "refine" the team over the summer. I was hoping that might mean adding a few more footballers to the squad. It's possible to be hard working hard tackling and play decent football.
  5. As has been noted many times before on here, moving to Celtic seems to turn lots of people into moaning, bitter eejits. Players and managers alike. I don't take it too seriously, though - in fact I don't think I've really listened to anything Boyd has said since he left the club. He was an excellent player for us, and played well in the Cup Final. That'll do.
  6. Like Robinson was saying (again) it's too expensive to sign Scottish players - at least from other Scottish teams. So all we can do is try and develop our own.
  7. I would have agreed about Kipre until he extended his contract a second time. I think he'll be with us for the start of next season (if not for much longer). Of course, Aldred might fancy his chances elsewhere too. It's not a given he'd want to come back to Fir Park.
  8. The problem with signing Aldred is who is going to sit on the bench every week. With Dunne and Kipré tied up on new contracts, someone will be warming the bench until at least January I'd imagine. As excellent as Aldred has been (and he could be the best signing of the season given the Harltey injury), it might make more sense with our limited budget to keep McGuire as the bench warmer and spend our money elsewhere.
  9. Nah - he would struggle the same way guys like Higdon would struggle to adapt; just not their style. If we changed our approach, he might be a good signing, but I doubt that's the direction Robinson is taking our team. He's a guy that needs a team mate with a bit of guile and football in him, and that last guy we had with that was probably Nicky Law.
  10. Nice to be playing in a final at the end of the season that has nothing to do with relegation.
  11. Would be delighted if that is the approach we take next season (although I doubt it will be the case). I know Ciftci has taken some stick, but that's been in part due to the style we play and that he needs someone with a footballing brain to play beside. Bowman and Main don't offer that. Tanner did to some extent.
  12. Lack of goals is due to a huge lack of creativity in the midfield. I'd rather we sorted that out next.
  13. Maybe Livi pulled a 'Flow and only gave Utd. the minimum allocation required.
  14. I think this is going to be a typical end-of-season affair. Both teams safe, and about 6 or 7 regulars rested.
  15. Nathan Thomas and George Long also transfer listed by Sheffield Utd.
  16. I wish you were one of my clients!
  17. Exactly the reason we are only rolling it out to a limited number of users at first. Good catch, though!
  18. I seriously think that Robinson rates him as a player and as a captain and will have him start, yes.
  19. That makes sense when you have a new system. Roll it out to a few people first to iron out any issues.
  20. Delighted. I won his shirt in Steelmen Online sponsorhip raffle a few years ago, so that must have doubled its value.
  21. Unless he gets injured, McHugh is a banker to start at Hampden.
  22. If we win it, it guarantees another 50 or 60k to fund another wage next season. Plus I like keeping the wee team in their place.
  23. Good to hear the new ticketing system is up and running smoothly. Another step (or great leap?) forward.
