  1. He's been great for us this season. A repeat of his behaviour against Accies, however, is not acceptable. He already put us on the road to defeat when he sold the 2nd goal. Getting suspended is letting the team down. It's also a bit hypocritical for someone who loves to dish out the verbals to lose it when someone gives it back. Suck it up and move on to beating them in the next game - instead of getting suspended for the next game. I'll still be delighted if we can sign him up permanently, though.
  2. When we sold our best players directly to Celtic and Rangers it used to bother me, but players move clubs so often these days some will inevitably end up at the OF. If Moult had been sold to Rangers, THAT would have been upsetting.
  3. Did Brighton not say they had no intention of selling him? Either way, I'm firmly in the not bothered camp.
  4. I heard it. Same thing as he's been saying eleswhere. Thanking everyone for making him and his family feel at home, best goals were the Rangers semi and late Accies equalizer. Also mentioned his 4 against Accies at Fir Park.
  5. Aye, he gave his 4th or 5th farewell speech just before the game.
  6. I felt cheated that he wasn't on crutches when he appeared.
  7. That's why his role yesterday made sense, as he had more time there. If Robinson serious about getting rid of "so-called ball players" he'll be getting rid of this so-called fan too. There's plenty of teams that play the high pressing game that can play a bit of football too -it's not an either/or proposition. The teams that are scrappers-only are almost always in the bottom 6.
  8. Woooo, skippy comeback! Assuming its the promotion playoff places
  9. Tanner was decent. I liked Bigi's first half performance sitting in front of the back line, but it speaks volumes that Campbell's 44 mins was probably enough for MOTM.
  10. I agree with that - we might have cover for left back if Plummer ever gets fit - but that remains to be seen.
  11. For a guy who says he doesnt like to single out players in public, he sure likes to single out players in public
  12. I meant I fancied them both to score today. I agree it's unlikely they'll be the starting strikers.
  13. A Newell / Tanner combo wins the game for us today.
  14. If the game is off due to half an inch of wet snow I'll be asking the club to refund my plane ticket. You play your way out of slumps, not by bricking it and hiding.
  15. In previous seasons, almost certainly. However, we should have enough in the bank to secure Hartley and keep Cedric. We're already short of cover at the back, so losing Cedric would mean we need to find 2 more defenders in January. If I had to chose though, you're right - Hartley meets our immediate needs.
  16. Spot on. We have far too many supporters that bang on about blooding youngsters then turn on them when they make mistakes or are inconsistent.
  17. Cedric has the youth pedigree and the potential to be a player. He'd certainly be worth a punt for any team that sees 6 figure transfer fees as small change. I'd be disappointed if he left in Jan though.
  18. We have slipped down the league while Moult is still 100% our player. That's why we need to do more than replace only him.
  19. And yet, despite all that, they sit comfortably in 3rd place above this all and sundry they keep dropping points to. I have lived in the US for just over 20 years. The last time we won a league game at Ibrox I was living in the UK. If we had a fully fit first team out tonight we'd still have lost. That's how we roll.
  20. I'm expecting at least 3 new faces in Jan.
  21. All the feedback I heard about Watt was in regard to his attitude, not his talent. If he has sorted that out, fair play to him - we could have a player on our hands.
  22. We have academy players out on loan - presumably with a view to getting them first team ready. Hastie looked like he'd be the next one to step up, although I haven't kept an eye on his recent progress. Newall didn't come through the academy, but is only 19. And Semple is supposedly the next big thing, but just a bit too young for first team development. Dom Thomas should have been ready this year, but we all know that story.
  23. In his post match, Robinson said Hartley just cramped up from lack of training and Carson's situation was now a case of pain management - so quite possible we see them both in this one.
  24. Our pen looked a stonewaller from my vantage point. Rose's was never a booking.
  25. Exactly. Ultimately, it's only the player himself that knows how he feels. If the fitness tests have been passed, the sports scientist won't know if a players hamstring feels a little tight or whatever.
